Melina's POV

I lay on my bedroom floor with my eyes fixed on the blank white ceiling above me. I had tried to stand up, to rise from the floor, but every attempt had been futile. My body refused to cooperate, leaving me with nothing to do but lay there, helpless and defeated. The mystic force wanted me to be still so no matter how many times I tried to stand up, I couldn't.

With each failed attempt, a growing sense of frustration and desperation consumed me. I had thoughts of screaming for help, of calling out to anyone who might hear, but I knew deep down that it would be useless. Everyone had gone about their usual business, so the hallways were empty.

I felt trapped, isolated, and alone, with nothing but my own anxious thoughts bombarding my mind. I wondered what was happening, what was going on with me that I couldn't even stand up.
