Liana's POV

May was quiet for a long time as she only listened to my rant. I figured out when I was done that she was trying to summon the courage to speak to me; that was why she couldn't say anything for a while.

“Liana, it's not that serious.” She said softly. I could tell she didn't mean what she was saying.

“Liar.” I said to her angrily because I was trying to let her know that I'm not so stupid as to believe that she would want to get married just like that and forget about all the plans she had since she was younger. We might not have known each other when we were younger, but she filled me in on all the details about herself and how she desperately wants to become a flight attendant one day.
