Chapter Twelve.

Nina's POV

A clear empty sky, no stars, and a silent night. Today is indeed amazing and disturbing.

A lot of things happened today, many things got off hand. Things I didn't expect to happen in the early phase. Why did we meet again? I'm about to lose my mind thinking about what will happen in the morning.

I should have expected the famous quote “Expect the unexpected.”

But can you blame me? Those things only happen to the main characters. As far as I know, Lady Marina isn't the main character. It was really a good thing that I was able to run immediately.

But what do I do now? I'm pretty sure she would remember me. Should I pretend that it wasn't me she saw last time?

Know I'm on a tightrope. I can't help but blame myself for being stupid. Why did I chase the dog I don't like to chase others. I can't even run fast, so it was all futile. Even if I chase it there is a big possibility that I won't be able to catch the dog.

So stupid of me to think I could catch it. Look
