CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

Nina's POV

I lift up my hand and bend down to reach the fancy decorated box. I grabbed it and placed it in my lap. I slowly pulled the hem of the red ribbon until it was unwrapped.

I can't help but to grin widely. My hands are shaking from the excitement because this is my first time receiving a fancy decorated, magical gift. I think my courting to Death did receive a slight response.

The box wasn't that big, it was a medium size box. I immediately pulled the top cover and when I saw what was inside I couldn't help but be surprised.

My eyes went wide open that I think were the size of an owl. My hands were trembling, my pupils shook and my heart palpitated when I saw what's inside the box.

I can't believe this!

The item inside the box was also a small black box!

What's a scam?!

I controlled my trembling hands from anger and took a deep breath. All the suspense was not good for my heart, the feeling i
