Lyra's POV
Helena let me go, and her gaze met Raven's, who was standing in the doorway with a smirk on her face. I could feel tension building in the room as Raven took in the scene.
"So, what do we have here?" Raven mocked, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "The little Omega and her caretaker in a touching moment. How quaint."
I shot her a glare, but Helena and I remained silent, choosing not to engage in her mockery. Raven continued, circling us like a predator enjoying its prey.
"Tell me, Lyra, did you enjoy your time away? Did you find a new playmate, or are you still stuck with the same old caretaker?" Her words were laced with derision.
Helena and I exchanged a glance, both of us realizing that Raven was intentionally trying to provoke us. We stood our ground, refusing to be drawn into her taunts.
