Chapter Twenty One
Waking slowly, struggling to open my eyes. I shifted where I was laying and noticed that I was on my new bed and across the room Viktor was seated in a corner watching over me. He just sat there tapping his fingers against the arms of the wooden chair either waiting for a response from me or thinking about what he was going to say.
He leaned forward more into the soft glow coming in from the slightly ajar bathroom door. Placing his elbows on his knees he said "You are a rather aggravating woman, do you know that? Do you also have any idea how much you scared everyone down there? What in the hell happened?"
"I'm sorry and I don't know. I blacked out or something. Maybe it has something to do with the ruffeling and the pain I get in my head more often that not. Who knows. All I know is that I feel like it's getting worse."

It was like he flipped a switch. We were hot and heavy and then I shut it down and he turned cold. Making sure I don't stumble down the steep steps I made it to the backdoor of the cafe. It was oddly enough locked. So, I walked around to the front and the closed sign was up.Weird. Standing in awe of what I was looking at. If I thought everything I seen so far was beautiful, well this just took the cake. It was a literal castle, which looked like it was made of glass. It was absolutely breathtaking. Glistening in the sunlight in all its glory. There were towers upon towers with arched windows for you to peek out into the valley we were standing in. There was even a glass looking draw bridge that was already lowered to allow us entry and at the end of which there were guards standing at attention.Feeling Viktors hand close around mine. It seemed like a blink of an eye and we were standing in the middle of an abandoned warehouse. It took not more than a moment and we were standing in a whole new world. In my eyes this realm was much more beautiful than the last. There were two suns and two moons in the sky and the sky itself was amazing. There were blues, pinks, yellows and purples all blending together to make such a sight an artist could only dream of witnessing and to lay upon a canvas. I was in pure awe of what I was seeing.Also, there was a sense of peacefulness here. I didn't feel like I was under a microscope with prying eyes from up above. Which reminded me. Looking up to the trees there were no little houses decorated with moss and flowers. No little heads peeking out and looking down at me. They were just trees, but not the typical tree. No, these trees were much more than that. As we walked inside I noticed everything was made of white marble. The floors, the large columns lining the whole entrance and then the marble staircase that spiraled up to all the floors that I could see. This seemed to be the complete center, the heart of the castle. I didn't see any throne like I seen with my parents castle. It seemed like this was the middle of the whole and everything could be seen from here at the bottom all the way up to the very top floor. It was something to behold, but man just thinking of walking all the way up those stairs just seemed exhausting to me and I'm not even in bad shape.Laughing Dimitri said. Waking up wrapped up in anothers arms is one of the best feelings in the world.I don't think either of us planned on falling asleep, but I suppose we wore each other out. I can't complain. Who could. No one in there right mind would.Again I say I have no regrets on it being Dimitri and although I wish I did know the whole story with Viktor and I do feel bad about that whole situation. I couldn't bring myself to let that hold me back from what I feel was right. Dimitri always felt right and any time that was influenced was due to Aimee andd Viktor telling me otherwise. All the while they were proving themselves untrustworthy and not at all forthcoming. Especially for people who stated they had the best of intentions.Wonder if I will ever see them again? Who am I kidding, I know I will. The question is when will I see them again.There's a lot at play and is it possible they could come here? I'm assuming yes. But will they.
