(Mr Knowles Part 3)
Devante's had the best Philly cheese steak sandwich in the city and Grayson was glad Kathleen showed him the wonderful restaurant which almost left him breathless, she was a full bred New Yorkian considering the way she spoke about knowing all the hidden gems in the city unlike him who just fully relocated a year ago and traveling out consistently.
They both shared a sandwich and another shot of vodka which almost knocked her out but she remained strong, he was actually baffled and impressed at the same time with the way she was able to hold her alcohol—it was fun drinking with a woman who wasn't knocked out by the third glass of Martini.
Occasionally they both sent sultry glances at each other and Kathleen knew he wanted her, she wanted him too and going home with strangers on the first night wasn't her thing but Mathew Knowles was special—something about him sparked a flame inside which she didn't even know existed in the first place.
Finally he mustered up enough courage after an excruciatingly painful silence, ‘So can I still take you up on that offer?'.
‘It depends', she nipped on her bottom lip and then laughed nervously as she felt woozy, ‘I usually don't do things like this'.
‘We're both single I mean....'
She laughed again, ‘Wait you're single?? I thought you were a married man!!'.
‘Do I look like a married man?? is it the shirt??'. He joined in the joke.
She nodded, ‘Yeah it's the shirt'.
‘Dang it!'. He feigned disappointment and they both bursted into immense laughter again. Then they both fell silent and she saw that look in his eyes again, the warmth in them were met with the same fire in her eyes and she felt a lump form in her throat when he extended a hand towards her and lift her up to stand.
This was it Kathy, she told herself as he ushered her into his car which was in no way modest and if he was trying to come off as middle class income then he was failing miserably. The ride to his hotel was the most perverse experience she had to go through as she found her insides in all sorts of mess, her mind said one thing but her urges said another right until they got to the building.
There it was—the central grand hotel which was deemed one of the biggest buildings in the world, a room alone cost more than her yearly savings combined and she waited patiently as Mathew Knowles talked with the receptionist.
’You sure took your time over there'. She drawled and he placed a hand over her waist which made her gasp.
‘Let's go shall we??'.
‘The elevator to the rooms is that way'. She said as they were going in the wrong direction.
He smiled again, ‘Ohh we're not going to any of those rooms'.
*********
Kathleen almost squealed when he mentioned booking a suite instead, the cost alone could change her life forever but all that went down the drain when Mathew grabbed a hold of her, pinning her to the private elevator wall and rained down. She almost found herself breathless as he kissed her without decorum, his lips felt so fierce and powerful...so good too as she could still taste the tartness of the vodka they shared an hour ago.
She dug her fingers into his hair, parting her lips even wider and making him even more excited as she was the kind of woman he liked—one who wasn't shy and knew what she wanted....she wasn't a clueless damsel, she knew she wanted what he has to give and he sure did have a lot.
At this moment he was no longer a gentleman, he wasn't the charming Mr Knowles but a totally different person. He couldn't help himself just being in a cube and not being able to do anything, she was so beautiful and all he wanted was to kiss the lipstick she had on away which he held until he finally snapped.
The elevator door finally opened to the suite he ordered to be prepared for him and he hunched Kathleen up on his waist, hurling her purse across the room and straight onto the chest drawer next to the bed.
He couldn't get enough of her, something about this woman was driving him crazy, ways in which Charisse could never. She was a burst of freshness which he needed in his sexual life, one who received and gave too which made it all the more exciting. He finally broke away from her lips which took a lot of courage as all he wanted was to drink from the sweetness her mouth had to offer.
She released a moan as he worshipped her neck with soft kisses and felt his hand go all the way back to her zipper, at this point she didn't care if he was a stranger or not—he was a man who knew how to pleasure a woman, and she was a woman who was in dire need of good pleasuring.
Not like she was celibate, her illicit affair with Jake Coleman had a lot of sex in it, boring sex to be precise as he wasn't a man who was into foreplay and just went straight into action—she enjoyed it, most of the time but it didn't make her want to explode with the way Mathew Knowles was making her feel right now.
She also helped in taking his shirt off and he was a man adorned with tattoos which took her by surprise from the dazed expression plastered on her face, he looked like a responsible citizen but with his shirt off and the beautiful mural of a Chinese dragon on his back a couple few writings on his chest....he was in no way a responsible and upstanding citizen.
‘Whoa'. She laughed softly as the alcohol was starting to kick in more.
He looked down at his chest and smiled, ‘Well I've made a lot of choices I'm not proud of'.
‘You should be', she whispered and wrapped her arms around his neck to reel him down for a kiss, ‘You are one interesting man Mathew Knowles'.
(The Final End)Two weeks later and Kathleen could be seen at the block's cookout organized by everyone in the apartment building to celebrate Nana Willow's birthday, she was ill and in her final days, and instead of spending it in the hospital she wanted to be around the people she loved and cared about.Plates started to pass around until it got to her, the smell of the best cheese steak sandwich from Devante's wafted into her nostrils and she could feel her mouth water just looking at it. Next to her sat Joana and her adorable twelve year old, Wallace was trying to find an excuse to play with the other kids whilst his mother was busy getting enamoured by Bobo, the dog walker from next block.‘So how's life treating you huh?', Mr Garrison asked as he took a seat next to her, ‘You know we miss you around here'.Her brows arched, ‘Come on...almost a year ago you wanted to throw me out on the streets. Don't play favors now that I've leased my apartment now'.‘Well that friend of yours
(Stay away from my son part 2)‘No??'‘No'‘What do you mean No?!'.Kathleen sighed deeply, this was like a movie, ‘Look here Mrs Hunter—I am not what you think I am, a golddigger. I love Grayson and considering how he was the one who chased me until I became his girlfriend I think you have an idea on what it is'.Evangeline pursed her lips as she placed a blank cheque on the table, she slid it over to Kathleen's side of the table, ‘That's a blank cheque right there.... anything you need... whatever you want...it could be a million dollars, name your price. Name your price and I'll give you what it takes just to stay away from my son'.Kathleen stared down at the cheque feeling almost insulted, the least Evangeline could do was be original and try something else that wasn't from the obvious plot of a movie, she chuckled softly, ‘You know this would've been the offer of a lifetime but why would I choose to take what you're offering, knowing fully well that your son can give me double?'
(Stay away from my son)Grayson was trying to get rid of his house hunger by having almost a gallon of fruit loops and milk, he was tired and now unemployed. It felt strange having breakfast all by himself by this time of the day, when he heard someone stomping towards him from behind and turned around to Kathleen, she wasn't happy, he smiled.‘Morning babe'.‘You told me everything's okay?!!'. She cried out.He shrugged, ‘Everything is okay. You're back from work early'.She winced, ‘Cut the crap Gray! Of course I'm back from work early cause I fucking got fired! I got a promotion and in a week I loose my fucking job all because my boyfriend couldn't give me a heads up about him losing his position!'.Her eyes were turning red by the minute, he pursed his lips losing his appetite immediately as his cereal turned soggy, ‘I'm sorry and yes—i stepped down as CEO'She gasped, 'Why would you do that?! I thought you loved your job more than anything Gray....more than me!'.He frowned deepl
(The New CEO)November 31st, 10pm to be exact, Grayson Hunter stepped down from his position as the CEO of Hunter's Group. He worked half of his life to be here, missed out on the fun of being a young man, never spent Christmas or his birthday with anyone, almost developed a eating disorder with his constant lack of a balance meal and all for what? all for his father to throw it away with some stupid marriage proposal. He didn't care, even if he worked his butt off to become the CEO he didn't care and he would do the same all over again—throw it all away if it meant he couldn't be with Kathleen. He was successful enough on his own, he had his own money which meant he didn't need his father's inheritance, he was rich enough to take care of himself and take care of his woman. He wasn't leaving Kathleen for anything, not even the job he loved most. A sniffle escaped him as he could feel the tears brimming in his eyes, ‘Take me somewhere else'. He instructed the driver in a icy tone.‘Sir
(Don't marry your assistant)It took a lot of contemplation but with enough pressure from Kathleen he finally managed to get into the car, dressed in a simple royal blue shirt with two buttons down and casual pants. Royal blue was his mother's least favorite color, she usually said the color reminded her of commoners in the most disdainfully way possible and he loved to piss her off.The drive lasted an hour before he got to his father's mansion. The Hunter family house, a sigh left his lips as he got out of the car, standing in front of the white mansion and feeling a dreaded sense of loneliness just looking at it. He hadn't been here in almost two years, he hated it, the two pillars that held the porch together up to the main door, the long bushes of carnellas that led up to the backyard which he was mildly allergic to but no one cared—he hated every single one of it, the stupid bright chandelier that once fell on his leg and his father had to tell him to act like a man and stop wai
(Wallace)Grayson frowned deeply seeing the list of potential candidates for the position of his new assistant—Incompetent they all were, unimpressive and most of all they weren't Kathleen. She'd done such a good job being his assistant that a replacement just felt like a let down, trying to fill up a void space. He flipped through the pages of each personal information when Theresa suddenly walked into his office with a stack of files, placing it on his table even though he didn't instruct her to. His brows arched as he looked up at her, ‘Pardon??'.‘These are the breakdowns you asked for sir'. She muttered in the most stoic way possible that it almost felt like a mocking sarcasm, ‘Unfortunately the assistant supervisor isn't here to bring these herself'.It subtly sounded like she was trying to insult his work ethic, and he knew Kathleen wasn't one to slack on the job, ‘It isn't the assistant's job. It's your job'.‘Sorry sir'. She nodded. He was already annoyed, he hated the blatan
