The Coaster

Trisha looked up as the coaster screamed by then back at Logan's expectant face. "Are you serious?"

"What? I've always wanted to ride one of these. And you told me no tunnel of love, and no ferris wheel, you didn't mention no to roller coasters."

Trisha shuddered as the screams from the riders filled her ears. "I hate heights, Logan."

"It's a coaster, it's on tracks,  you'll be safe, and I'll be right by your side. I promise you that nothing bad is going to happen to you. I've seen your angry face, but I want to see your scared face."

Trisha glared at him and he laughed again. "That look is the best."

Trisha stopped talking as the coaster and its occupants once more crept up on the track ready for its plunge. She shivered as it tipped slowly over the hill and then plummeted down the track.

Trisha tensed and found Logan's hand in hers as she squeezed it. "You're really going to make me do this?"
