Scene One — A Message Bearing a Forgotten Name

The Abandoned Building — Third Floor — 9:00 P.M.

Adam stood in front of Soukania, watching her face as she stared at the piece of paper they had found inside the broken doll.

Her hands were steady...

But her eyes were not.

Adam: “Soukania... what does the message say?”

She didn't answer.

She simply stared at the words as though they had dragged a ghost out of her past.

Adam took a step closer.

His voice softened.

Adam: “Look at me.”

Slowly, she raised her eyes to his.

For the first time since they had met, Adam saw genuine fear in them.

Without saying a word, she handed him the paper.

He unfolded it and read the message.

> “Welcome back... Captain Nova.”

Adam frowned.

Adam: “Captain... Nova?”

He looked at her.

Adam: “That's not your name.”

Soukania took the paper from his hand and slipped it into the pocket of her coat.

Soukania (with forced coldness): “An old name.”

Adam studied her expression.

Adam: “Old... or secret?”

She shot him a sharp look.

Soukania: “The less you know... the longer you'll stay alive.”

Silence settled between them.

But Adam didn't back down.

Instead, he gave her his usual confident smile.

Adam: “Unfortunately for you... I'm stubborn.”

For the first time since they had met, the faintest smile appeared on Soukania's lips.

It disappeared a second later.

Before Adam could say anything else, her phone rang.

She pulled it out.

The screen displayed:

UNKNOWN NUMBER

She hesitated for several seconds.

Then answered.

A man's deep, calm voice came through the phone.

Man: “Did you really think changing your name would make us forget you?”

Soukania froze.

The man's voice remained eerily calm.

Man: “This is only the beginning... Tell the boxer to stop protecting you, or we'll be attending his funeral soon.”

The call ended.

Soukania stared silently at her phone.

Adam's expression hardened.

Adam: “Who was that?”

She slowly lowered the phone.

Then looked at him.

Soukania: “I think... you've become a target because of me.”

Silence filled the room again.

But Adam didn't take a step back.

Instead, he smiled confidently.

Adam: “Then I guess my life became a lot more interesting the moment I walked into that doll shop.”

Scene Two — Ambush in the Metro

Admiralteyskaya Metro Station — Saint Petersburg

After the mysterious phone call, Soukania decided they had to leave immediately.

Adam: “Where are we going?”

Soukania: “If we stay here, we'll die.”

They hurried down the metro stairs as the final train approached the platform.

The doors were already closing when they reached the carriage.

They slipped inside just seconds before they shut completely.

Adam let out a breath of relief.

Adam: “Finally... I think we got away.”

Soukania didn't answer.

Instead, she began scanning the passengers one by one.

A man reading a newspaper.

A woman holding a child.

A young man listening to music.

Then—

Her eyes stopped on a man wearing a black cap.

Their eyes met.

The man smiled coldly.

Then he removed one of his earbuds, revealing a small communication device tucked beneath it.

Soukania's expression changed.

She whispered:

Soukania: “He's not a passenger.”

At that exact moment, four other men stood up in different parts of the train.

The exits were blocked.

Adam glanced around.

Adam: “How many are there?”

Soukania's eyes remained fixed on the men.

Soukania: “More than we need.”

One of the men stepped toward them.

Man: “Hand over the metal piece... and we'll let the boxer live.”

Soukania stared at him without fear.

Then, slowly, she removed her coat and handed it to Adam.

Soukania: “Hold this.”

Adam looked at her in confusion.

Adam: “What are you going to do?”

For the first time, a confident smile appeared on her face.

Soukania: “I'm going to make us a way out.”

The first man lunged at her.

Soukania caught his arm, used his momentum against him, and flipped him over her shoulder.

He slammed hard onto the floor of the moving train.

At the same instant, a second attacker charged.

But before he could reach her, Adam stepped in.

Adam: “My turn.”

His fist connected with the man's face.

The attacker crashed violently against the carriage door.

The fight erupted inside the moving train.

Passengers screamed.

The doors rattled.

The lights flickered as the train disappeared into a dark tunnel.

Adam and Soukania fought side by side.

Then—

The man in the black cap reached beneath his coat.

He pulled out a silenced pistol.

He raised it toward Adam's back.

Soukania saw him.

Her eyes widened.

Soukania: “Adam! Duck!”

BANG!

The bullet was fired.

---

Scene Three — The Hostage

Inside the Moving Metro Carriage

The bullet flew through the air.

But it didn't hit Adam.

Instead, it tore through the handbag of a woman standing behind him.

Adam immediately turned and lunged at the gunman.

The pistol slipped from the man's hand and skidded across the floor.

At the same time, Soukania took down another attacker with a swift movement.

For a moment, it seemed the fight was over.

Then—

The last remaining member of the group grabbed a little girl who had been crying at the far end of the carriage.

He pressed a knife against her throat.

Everyone froze.

The man's voice cut through the carriage.

Man: “Back away... or I'll kill her.”

Soukania took one step forward.

Adam: “Don't...”

She stopped.

The man tightened his grip on the girl.

Man: “Drop your weapons.”

Soukania slowly threw her gun onto the floor.

Adam looked at her in disbelief.

Adam: “You're surrendering?”

She glanced at him.

Her voice was calm.

Almost unnervingly calm.

Soukania: “Trust me.”

The man smiled triumphantly.

He slowly bent down to pick up the gun.

And that was exactly what Soukania had been waiting for.

She flicked a small metal object from her hand.

It struck his wrist.

The knife dropped.

In the same instant—

Adam launched himself forward like an arrow.

His fist struck the man with devastating force.

The attacker crashed into the train door and collapsed unconscious.

The little girl immediately ran toward her mother, crying.

Her mother pulled her into a tight embrace.

Then she looked at Soukania and Adam with tears in her eyes.

Mother: “Thank you... You saved her life.”

Before either of them could respond, a voice came through the train's speakers.

> “Next station... Palace Square.”

Soukania's expression suddenly changed.

Soukania: “Get off. Now.”

---

Scene Four — The Sniper

The train doors opened.

Terrified passengers rushed onto the platform.

But Soukania didn't move.

She was staring at the rooftop of the building opposite the station.

There—

A man stood with a sniper rifle.

Before she could warn Adam—

The sniper fired.

Soukania ducked and grabbed Adam, pulling him to the ground.

The bullet tore through the air just above their heads.

Panic erupted throughout the station.

People screamed and rushed behind pillars for cover.

The sniper fired again and again, forcing Soukania and Adam to stay down.

Adam looked at her while catching his breath.

Adam: “Exactly how many people are after us?”

Soukania glanced around quickly.

Soukania: “Enough to make this a very long night.”

Her eyes moved across the station.

Then she spotted something.

A maintenance tunnel.

She pointed toward it.

Soukania: “That way.”

They ran.

Soukania grabbed Adam's arm and pulled him into the dark tunnel.

Behind them, the sniper continued firing.

Bullets struck the walls as they disappeared into the darkness.

---

Scene Five — A Face from the Past

Several Minutes Later

After running through the underground passage, they finally reached an abandoned side exit.

Both stopped to catch their breath.

For a few seconds, there was nothing but silence.

Then—

Slow applause echoed through the darkness.

Clap.

Clap.

Clap.

Soukania slowly raised her head.

A man in his fifties stepped out of the shadows.

He was elegantly dressed in a gray coat and carried a cane in one hand.

A faint smile rested on his face as he looked directly at her.

Then he spoke calmly.

Man: “Welcome... Captain Nova.”

Soukania froze.

Adam turned toward her in disbelief.

His eyes widened.

Adam: “So... that's your real name?”

She didn't answer.

The man took another step forward.

His smile never faded.

Man: “I thought you could escape your past...”

He paused.

His eyes remained fixed on Soukania.

Man: “But the past is the one thing that always finds you.”
