My Second Marriage

Chapter 1

Author: F
In my previous life, my father ordered my sister Sarah and me to each choose a marriage alliance from the Alphas of three wolf packs: Black Fang, Red Claw, and Silverwind. Among them, the strongest was Red, the Alpha of the Red Claw pack.

Both Sarah and I chose him, but Father refused to allow it. Instead, he forcibly arranged for me to marry Blake, the Alpha of the Black Fang pack, whose strength was slightly inferior to Rhett’s. However, no one expected what happened afterward.

After I became pregnant, Blake awakened the hidden power within his bloodline—the legacy of the Black Wolf. In an instant, he rose to become the most powerful Alpha of them all. Because of that, Blake treated me with endless affection. He was gentle with me and indulged my every wish.

Meanwhile, Sarah only received Rhett’s fists and cruelty. Every time we met, she was covered in fresh bruises. Whenever she saw the way Blake cared for me—his tenderness and the way he protected me—her gaze burned with hatred.

Then one day, she secretly dripped wolfsbane into my cup. The moment the liquid slid down my throat, my vision went black. My throat felt like it was being burned by molten lava. Blake panicked. The mighty Black Wolf, who could dominate every battlefield, was utterly helpless in the face of my body bleeding from every orifice.

Due to my pregnancy, I had lost my ability to heal. I could feel the poison spreading through my body, devouring me from the inside out. It was a pity that the tiny life in me was dying with me as well.

In the final moment before my consciousness disappeared, I saw Seville, the Alpha of the Silverwind pack—the man who had always seemed to fade into the background, rushing toward me. His face was filled with grief as he roared my name and ran toward me. Then, everything went dark.

When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day Father told us to choose our husbands. Father told me to get Sarah, who was still fixing her makeup. However, before I could knock, moaning sounds spilled from inside the room.

The door was slightly open, and through the narrow crack, everything was visible. Sarah had both hands pressed against the mirror, her dress pushed up to her waist. Blake stood behind her, his powerful hips moving relentlessly, like an engine that never ran out of energy. The sharp slapping sounds of his body striking hers echoed through the room.

When Sarah saw me through the mirror, her bright red lips curved into a provocative smile. Slowly, she mouthed the words to me.

“You’re… too late.”

So she had been reborn, too.

Sarah pushed herself up slightly, trying to change positions. However, Blake immediately shoved her down onto the cold table. He yanked open the collar of her dress and slapped her chest, leaving a vivid red mark across her skin.

“You don’t move unless I tell you to.”

Sarah didn’t cry out in pain. Instead, she let out a soft, breathy moan.

“Bad girls need to be punished.”

Blake grabbed her, lifting her body slightly as his movements stopped.

Sarah’s face flushed deep red with excitement. Her eyes lost focus as she began babbling nonsense.

“Master… Daddy… Please… Wait…”

The words tumbled out of her mouth in a desperate blur.

Blake suddenly pulled himself out of her, earning an annoyed whimper from Sarah. That only earned her another slap—this time between her thighs—followed by the faint sound of liquid dripping onto the floor.

“You like that, don’t you?”

Blake narrowed his eyes at her reflection in the mirror. Three of his fingers pushed easily inside her.

“You’re a bad girl. You came without permission. You need to learn some rules.”

His fingers moved slowly. Sarah trembled as she instinctively pushed herself back against his hand. However, Blake wasn’t satisfied. He pulled his fingers out and slapped her again between the thighs. The sound this time was louder than before.

Sarah cried out in pain and finally stopped moving. She bit her lip, tears gathering in her eyes, her flushed face glowing with heat. Blake’s fingers brushed against her, watching with satisfaction as her body reacted, clenching and releasing in empty need.

Just as she was about to reach the peak again, Blake suddenly pinched down with two fingers. Sarah’s body went rigid. Then, she began to convulse.

Blake casually patted her cheek and wiped the fluids from his fingers across her face.

“Did I say you could?”

Sarah’s voice trembled. “I’m sorry, Master.”

Blake ordered her to turn around. She obediently placed her hands against the dressing mirror again. He grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at herself in the reflection. Slowly, he rolled his hips, his hardened length brushing against her again and again.

Sarah’s eyes turned hazy as her hips sank lower.

“Master, take me harder.”

Blake chuckled. “Good girl.”

He didn’t stop moving. However, his eyes were fixed on the mirror—on me. He, too, had noticed me standing there.

Suddenly, a hand reached from behind me and quietly closed the door. It was Father.

“Sarah has chosen Blake,” he said flatly. “Look for Rhett instead.”

I looked at him but said nothing.

Sarah’s mother had been his fated mate. After she died, Father poured all the love he once had for her onto Sarah. My mother, on the other hand, had only been an ordinary mate, without title or status. Because of that, I had never mattered much to him either. Since young, Sarah had always been his precious daughter. Whenever it came to picking something, Sarah always went first.

I quickly ran through the possibilities in my mind. Rhett definitely wasn’t an option as I had no desire to die again, and that left only one choice: the Alpha of the Silverwind pack, Seville.

When I died in my previous life, I had heard his grief-filled roar. I didn’t know why, but my instincts told me choosing him wouldn’t be a mistake. However, there was just one problem: the Silverwind pack was famously poor. If it weren’t for the fact that generations ago they had once produced the legendary Silver Wolf Alpha, Seville probably wouldn’t have qualified for the alliance list. So how was I supposed to convince Father to agree?

Just then, the powder room door opened. Sarah walked out, leaning against Blake’s chest. Her long, pointed nails traced slow circles across his chest as she stared directly at me.

“Blake belongs to me now, little sister.” She said, “Why don’t you kneel and beg me? Maybe then I’ll allow you to be Blake’s mistress. You’ll have no name or status, just like your mother.”

Sarah burst into sharp laughter, her eyes gleaming like a venomous snake.

Blake caught Sarah as she collapsed, but she could no longer make a sound. In her final moments, there seemed to be a trace of regret in her eyes. However, before she could say anything, her hand fell heavily to the ground, her last breath gone. Blake threw his head back and let out a long, grief-stricken howl. With the Alpha of the Red Claw pack dead, the remaining red werewolves were quickly subdued by the Black Fang pack, who had finally broken through and taken control. Seville walked over to Blake and placed a hand on his shoulder, giving it a quiet pat.I attended Sarah’s funeral. Not many people came. Only Blake stood there, his face cold and unreadable, and Father, who cried so hard he could barely stand. Seville supported me gently from the side, one arm around me and my round belly.A light rain began to fall. Seville opened an umbrella over my head and stayed beside me as I placed a single flower in front of Sarah’s gravestone. With his help, I slowly straightened up. The

“I bet you didn’t see this coming, Blake,” Rhett said as he looked down at him from above. “So how does it feel to be stabbed in the back by your wife?”Blake didn’t even have the strength left to speak. However, from the hatred burning in his eyes, it was obvious the curses in his mind were vicious. One of Rhett’s men dragged a chair over for him. Rhett pulled Sarah into his arms and sat down with her. Then, he grabbed her chin and turned her face toward Blake, forcing him to watch as they kissed. When their lips finally parted, Sarah’s tongue was still extended, a thin silver strand stretching between them.Rhett slowly ran a hand over Sarah’s stomach and sneered at Blake. “What an idiot.”His sharp claws traced back and forth across her belly as he looked at her with mocking amusement.“How about I cut your stomach open,” he said, “and let him see whether there’s really a little wolf pup inside?”Sarah laughed sweetly, her soft fist lightly tapping against Rhett’s chest. Rhett raised an eyebrow and looked down at Sarah with clear disdain. “You?”Sarah gestured for him to lean closer and whispered a few words into his ear.Rhett burst out laughing. “Very good, little wildcat. That bargaining chip of yours is worth the risk.”He left for a while. When he returned, he carried a small crystal bottle and forced the liquid inside it into Sarah’s mouth. Sarah’s body arched in pain. Bound by restraints on her limbs, she could only collapse heavily back onto the bed. Her pained groans seemed to excite Rhett. He pulled his pants down and grabbed her hair, sticking his length into her mouth. He mocked her. “Sweetheart, I’m really curious. How did you know I had this kind of potion, the kind that can fake a pregnancy so perfect that even witches and the elders can’t detect it?”Sarah’s mouth was completely occupied, leaving her unable to answer. Her eyes rolled back, and not a single word could escape her.Rhett waved it off. “Forget it. It doesn’t matter

Blake flew into a rage. He slammed Sarah to the ground and pinned her there so she couldn’t move.Struggling, she tried to defend herself. “We didn’t do anything yet! He didn’t get inside me. He forced himself on me! I couldn’t fight him off!”Blake dragged her to the shattered window that Rhett had crashed through earlier. He forced her against the frame, half her body hanging out into the open air. Her long hair whipped wildly in the wind.“You betrayed me!” he roared.Terrified of falling, Sarah clung desperately to the window frame. Shards of broken glass dug into her palms, but she had no choice except to grip tighter to keep her balance. Blood ran down her arms, and the scent of it made Blake’s eyes redden.Sarah burst into tears and pleaded with him. “I didn’t, darling. Please spare me, Master. I protected myself. Rhett didn’t have time to do anything. You can check me yourself, Master.”Blake yanked her away and dragged her into the bathroom before throwing her onto the f

The entire Black Fang pack was buzzing with excitement that their Alpha was about to gain unparalleled power. Sarah was especially proud of herself. She remembered what had happened in our previous life. Back then, Blake’s hidden bloodline had awakened only after I became pregnant with his child. So this time, as long as she got pregnant, she would become the Black Fang pack’s greatest contributor. Then, the love and tenderness from Blake that she had always coveted would finally be hers.Soon, everyone in the Black Fang pack began paying close attention to Sarah’s belly. However, two months passed, and there was still no sign of pregnancy.Meanwhile, one morning, Seville handed me a glass of milk as usual. Normally, I liked the sweet drink, but for some reason, it smelled overwhelmingly foul today. The moment the scent reached my nose, I couldn’t stop myself from vomiting.Seville’s expression immediately turned serious. He gently patted my back and quickly ordered someone to rus

  • My Second Marriage   Chapter 3

The day before the wedding, Seville asked me out. He took me to Moonlight Lake, deep within the Silverwind territory.Standing by the water, he called my name. This time, his voice was gentle, not the heartbroken roar I had heard just before my death in my previous life. Then, he dropped to one knee. In his hand was an open velvet box, and inside, a diamond ring sparkled under the moonlight.“Miss Lily, even though our marriage began as a political alliance, I believe you deserve a proposal.” Seville looked straight into my eyes, his expression solemn and sincere as he asked, “Will you marry me?”I blinked, then broke into a bright smile and held out my hand.“Of course.”As he slid the ring onto my finger, I felt the faint tremble in his hand. I reached out and held his fingers before rising on my toes and kissing the corner of his lips, triggering something deep within my soul. The Alpha of the Silverwind pack turned red in the ears.I returned home that day with a smile still
