1. The Untamed Flower

I woke up with a bright beam of sunlight invading my room from the glass Windows. Normally this is not enough to wake me up but today was a special day so I cannot possibly waste another minute in the bed.

Pushing aside the covers I ran straight towards the door and down the hall.

"Maria! Where is daddy?" I asked Maria, my maid. Maria has been in the house since I was five and she is just like my mother.

"Uhh... He's off to work sweetheart, like always." She said. And my heart broke.

He didn't remember? AGAIN? My head fell and I started to retreat back to my room with slow steps.

"But I have something for you.." Maria said as I was turning to leave. She fished out a small box from behind her.

"Happy birthday dear" she said with a sweet smile stretching her hand out with the box.

"Oh Maria! You remembered!?"

"Didn't I always?" She said mockingly.

I opened the box and it was a moon necklace layered with diamonds. It was small and so beautiful that I couldn't utter a word for a while.

"I know it's not much-"

"Are you kidding!? It's perfect! And it's so precious to me!" I said and she smiled upon hearing these words.

This is when I noticed the brand..

"Oh my god Maria! It must be expensive! I don't want you to spend so much money on me..." I said with wide eyes and a pouty face.

"Oh dear you know very well that all I have is you in the name of family. All that I have is yours, and to be honest that smile on your face just now is the most precious thing to me. No riches stand in front of it." She said and it brought a waterfall of tears from my eyes.

"What would I do without you?" I said between sobs and She engulfed my crying self into a warm hug. The hug that meant everything to me...

"There there now sweetheart. You shouldn't cry on your birthday, that too right in the morning. Now go get ready for your college ok?" I reluctantly tore myself away from her. Nodding in response I gave her a big smile.

"Oh yeah before I forget! This was on the door. It's for you.." she said walking towards the couch where a bouquet of flowers was placed.

"Again?" I said as she brought the flowers to me. I looked at them carefully... The same flowers...

I turned the bouquet around and took out the note, like always. It said~

I may never find words beautiful enough to describe all that you mean to me, but I spend the rest of my life searching for them....

How come my own father forgets my birthday but this person doesn't?

I don't even know who he is.

I just started receiving these a couple of months ago... They are delivered here everyday and we still don't know who the sender is. Ofcource it worries me but it also warms my heart thinking that someone is making such efforts for me.  

Above all, these flowers.... I don't even know what these flowers are called.

They are blue and insanely beautiful.... and their fragrance... It's something I've never known before...

"Is this flower still unknown?" I asked Maria, coming out of my thoughts.

"Yes dear... I approached every flower shop in the city... But no one knows about it. Is it not on the internet?"

"No, I've searched for hours about it but I couldn't find anything."

I signed heavily and returned to my room. Replacing yesterday's flowers I decorated this lot in the huge vase.

Though I don't really appreciate someone hiding their identity and giving me something like this... Still the flowers are too pretty to be thrown away.

I took a bath and got ready for college. I don't usually give my outfit much thought so I just wore whatever was in the front. It just a simple demine short skirt and black body suite, though it looks good.

"Sweetheart breakfast!!" Maria called out as I was practically running towards the main door.

"No way Maria I'm already running late I don't wanna be kicked out today!" I said walking toward my car where the driver was waiting.

"At Least take this." Maria came from behind and handed me a cream roll.

"CREAM ROLL!!" I practically screamed. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CREAM ROLLS! IT'S TO DIE FOR!!

"Yes I made everything of your liking today, but you little brat don't even have time."

"Hehehe save it for me ok? I'll eat it when I come back!!"

"Ofcouse. Have a good day dear." With that I took off to college.

College was also not one of my favorite places because I don't have many friends... The so called friends that I have are all with me just for money, I can see it in their behaviour you know...

And others who don't like me are just jealous.. because they think I'm the so-called 'Miss-I-have-it-all' kinda bitch.

Huh.. only if they made efforts to get to know me better... I practically have no one in this world to share my feelings with.

I got out of the car, entering the college I headed straight towards my locker to get my books. When I opened it, what I saw was..... Unbelievable...

The whole locker was decorated!

And In big letters it was written - Happy Birthday Y/N

I can't believe! It's the first time this is happening! It was decorated but still simple. Just the way I like it.

I felt happy...

There was something else... A bottle of strawberry milk and banana Cheese bread. Why was it there? I took it out and a small note fell from it. The same type of blue card that I get with the flowers! It said~

Did you had breakfast today? If not then have this. I know strawberry milk is your favourate.

No way... is this the same person? Does that mean he is from my college. Because an outsider cannot enter the college.. Let alone touch my locker...

But wait.. now that I think about it.. it's difficult to enter the college in broad day light, but it might not be so difficult at night...

I looked at the note again.

Who the hell is he!?
