Three days ago, I learned a secret.

The mate I found in human society, Claude, was actually the mysterious werewolf who became Ultima of the Alliance in just one month.

On my birthday, he would announce my identity. He said this was one of my birthday gifts.

At this moment, he was backstage reviewing his speech, while I lay lazily across his legs, feeling bored.

Seeing my boredom, he let out a soft sigh.

“Baby, why don’t you go have some fun at the banquet first?

I had always been the most dazzling princess of the pack. I wanted the best things in the world.

So, my mate naturally had to be the most outstanding among our peers.

In my previous life, Leon used his excellent hunting skills to catch my attention. That was why I quickly chose him as my mate.

However, when I arrived at the ceremony full of joy, waiting for the marking, what I saw was him kissing my younger sister, Rose.

“Claire, today is an important day for Ultima Claude to celebrate his mate’s birthday. Someone with your status isn’t suitable to be here.”

I tilted my head and looked at Leon.

“What is my status?”

“Claire, you’re just a failure in love.

“You were exiled to human society. Why did you come back?

I glanced at the werewolf mocking me. When his pack was in crisis, I had saved him.

Hearing everyone’s ridicule, Rose was very satisfied.

“Alright, everyone. Claire must have suffered in human society to want to come back.

“Please don’t speak to her like that.

“We should all welcome Claire’s return!”

“I won’t come back.”

“I thought Claire came back to care for her sister. I didn’t expect her to come back to steal her sister’s happiness.

“Good thing Alpha Leon loves Rose.”

The surrounding discussion made Rose’s eyes redden. She generously stood in front of me again.

“Please don’t say that about Claire. After all, she’s my sister.”

Then she looked at Leon with pleading eyes.

“Leon, it’s okay. As long as you love me, Claire coming back won’t really affect anything…”

Leon affectionately touched Rose’s head, then turned to look at me with a ruthless gaze.
