Sophie
“...Soph, could you come here please?... Sophie!?” was the next thing I heard. Snapping me out of the deep trance I had gotten myself into, having a staring contest with the man that was about to get married to my sister in a few hours.
“Yes, I'll be right there” I replied. Took a deep breath and went back to the bridal suite where Hazel was getting ready.
“You literally just got back and you're over here disappearing again. It's not even been an hour yet damn” Hazel said sarcastically, letting out a fake smirk.
“I only said to go see Dylan, before the ceremony begins so you can meet him officially..
Why did that take forever” she added.
“Ugh you're so dramatic. We got talking and got carried away. That's my brother in law, are you kidding! You know I had to put him on the spot and decide if I approved of him before you walked down that aisle” I replied, chuckling.
“Oh lord!” She said, laughing. I laughed too.
“So then, your royal highness, did he pass the vibe check?” she asked, giving me the funniest side eye.
“Well duh, I would have called this wedding off immediately if he didn't” I answered and that made everybody in the room with us laugh.
“You will never change now will you?” she said, teasing me.
By this time there were just little finishing touches left to be done before the ceremony began.
“Now that I'm here, what did you call me for Mrs Hazel Carter” I teased her
She chuckled.
“Oh, Soph, I missed you so much” she said, holding my hand as I stood beside her
“And I'm so grateful that you're here today,” she added, starting to get a little emotional.
“Uh, no ma'am, we won't do that right now, are you trying to ruin the hard work of these people in one minute” I said, placing my hand back on hers.
“By the way, don't tell me you called me here to tell me you missed me ma'am, really? Oh God save me from this girl” I added dramatically.
“I missed you too Haze, so much” I added squatting to give her a little side hug as she was still seated.
“Did you really think I would miss your wedding for anything? Are you crazy!?”
We both chuckled.
“Now, get it together and let's go wife you up!” I said in a more exciting tone and that set the vibe right back.
Hazel really did make a beautiful bride.
By this time, everyone was already seated in the open field waiting for the bride to come out, so my parents came to see if she was already and have my dad walk her down the aisle
And walked into a big surprise of seeing me in the room. My dad looked all sharp in his finely tailored suit and my mom looked as beautiful and as stunning as ever, very much fitting the role of the parents of the bride. They had no idea I would be there.
Technically, nobody knew I was going to attend this wedding, I lied to everyone and said I had my final exams on the day and wouldn't make it because I wanted my appearance to be a surprise and I achieved my goal. They were very much stunned to see me.
I ran like a baby to hug them both. It's been way over a year of being away from them and home. It felt so good to be back home.
Time was running and we didn't have enough time to talk and catch up as much as we would have liked right there as Hazel was expected to walk down with my dad in a couple of minutes so we had to move all that chit chat to after the ceremony.
“well, how do I look” Hazel asked Mom and Dad
“You look perfect, sweetheart. Absolutely stunning.” Dad said as he took her right hand and gave her a peck on it.
“Oh my dear baby, you look amazing” my mom said as she gave her a hug and turned to me.
Hazel and dad walk out of the room.
But my mom wasn't letting me leave without an explanation.
“Sophie? Oh my God, how did you.. When did you get here?” she said, bombarding me with all the questions she could possibly ask
“Ha, surprise” I said, slightly waving my hands in the air jokingly.
“Relax mom, I got here today. But that's not important now, I'll tell you about it later but right now we have a wedding to attend” I said as I held her hand and dragged her out of the room in a hurry so we wouldn't miss the most important part of the ceremony.
As we got to the venue, mom immediately went to her seat. Dylan was already in position waiting for Hazel. And for some reason, I kept taking glances at him. It was hard not to.
He was the kind of man you noticed immediately without wanting to. Tall, broad shoulders straight, dark hair and had the most beautiful eyes.
The kind that ruined people. That almost ruined me moments ago when I saw him earlier.
The day of the wedding was the first time I met him in person. I had only seen him in pictures Hazel would send anytime they went on dates so I knew who he was.
But I really cannot explain what happened between us earlier this morning in that corridor.
There was no conversation that led to us getting carried away or talking, that was a lie.
The minute I set my eyes on him and saw him walking towards me, my body froze. My heart definitely skipped a beat.
It was like I completely forgot I was looking at my sister's fiancé, soon to be husband. And I kept my eyes fixed on him till he stood directly in front of me.
“Hi Sophie, it's nice to finally meet you.” he said, extending his hand towards me.
“Hazel sent a text that you were on your way to meet me so I thought to meet you halfway” he added.
“Uh yes, hi Dylan” I stretched my hand towards him too giving a handshake.
I cleared my throat
It's nice to uh.. finally meet you too” I stuttered, trying to get myself together hoping he hadn't noticed anything weird about how I was just looking at him.
But, he didn't let go of my hand.
I don't know if he was conscious of that or not but for a minute there he didn't let go and somehow, very weirdly, for a brief moment we made eye contact.
I didn't look away, he didn't either. The way he stood in front of me in his perfectly crisped tailored black suit and his brown eyes fixed directly on mine, for a split second there my brain completely stopped working.
Until Hazel's voice snapped us out of it, calling for me from her suite.
“I'm sorry.. I– I need to get back to Hazel” I said, yanking my hand quickly out of his.
He just stood there and didn't say a word. Probably also wondering what had just happened.
I turned around and walked off, but before I got to the corner to take a left turn, I turned back and looked at him and he was still standing there fixing his eyes onto me as I walked off.
And somehow that felt way more dangerous than it should have.
“Touch it,” he said softly. I looked up at him and he nodded his head slightly and directed his eyes downward towards his dick. “Touch it,” he repeated. He grabbed my wrist and placed my hand on his already hard cock while his eyes were fixed on mine. My fingers trembled as Dylan guided my hand down. The moment my palm touched his warm hard cock, he let out a soft groan. The kind of sound that wants to let out the beast in you. He released my wrist and I kept touching and stoking it on my own. His breathing grew heavier. He leaned in, mouth brushing my ear. “ Put it in your mouth” The words vibrated against my skin. And without hesitation, I obeyed every word he said like a little slut. I got on my knees, and wrapped my mouth around the tip of his cock “Fuck!” he murmured I swirled my tongue around it, tasting salt and heat. He groaned softly. I opened wider and took the head into my mouth. My tongue continued swirling around his cock while my hand kept stroki
“Tell me you want me” he whispered very softly into my ear. “I.. Dylan.. Ple.. Please, we really shouldn't do this” I struggled to get my words out with my breath shaking under my voice. “You're shaking” he said softly as he placed his hand on the side of my neck stroking gently with his thumb locking his eyes onto mine, dark and steady, refusing to let me look away. “I'm not” He smirked wickedly. I lowered my eyes immediately. “Tell me you want me.. Sophie. I want to hear you say it” he whispered again to my ear. He lifted my face slightly, forcing me to keep my eyes on his. Every part of my body screamed “I want you” but I couldn't bring myself to form the words out of my mouth. Guilt twisted tight in my chest and all I saw was Hazel's face flash behind my eyes and I pulled away immediately and turned my back against him. “You need to go.. Please” I said sharply He scoffed softly. I didn't see his face but I heard him. “Why don't you look me in my
“Is somebody going to say something? Anything?” she pressed further “Well damn, if we tell you, it's not going to be a surprise anymore. So no, you don't need to know what it is.. Yet” I said smiling “Babe? You too?” she faced Dylan “I'm sorry baby, I'm going to have to agree with Sophie” he answered. “Oh.. Look at you two, plotting and whatnot and you just got here okay nice!” she laughed softly. The smile on my face faded immediately. I looked at Dylan briefly and looked away. I tapped on my chest like I was choking on something trying to clear it. “Pardon my manners Caleb, would you like anything?” Hazel turned to Caleb “I'm so sorry, I had a long day today, it's like I'm not functioning properly” she added, chuckling. “Oh no no, I'm okay. I should be on my way now in fact. I only wanted to make sure I dropped Sophie here by myself” he said “Aw isn't that sweet” she said looking at me trying to tease me. I rolled my eyes at her. Caleb scoffed lightly “Al
For a second, I wondered if it was a coincidence that I got a text from Dylan and a call from Hazel almost immediately. Could Hazel have been behind both phones? Maybe Dylan had said something to her about me while they were on their honeymoon? Could this be Dylan messing with me? Am I being paranoid or overthinking shit like I always do? My brain was working overtime. As I was going to swipe right to pick up the call, it dropped. I was too late. Then almost immediately she called again, and I answered. “Hey you! Where did you keep your phone? I've been calling you” Hazel said, sounding normal, just like she would on any other day. “My bad, I was just getting my things together. I didn't see the phone ring the first time” “Okay. Well, we just landed a while ago and we're on our way home right now. Just wanted to let you know so you can come whenever you're ready” She yawned. “God! I'm so tired” “Aw sorry, you sound so tired. Yeah I would be there later in the nig
The moment the door clicked shut behind Dylan, I let out a frustrated groan. What the hell have I gotten myself into? I dropped back onto my bed and buried my face in my hands. “There's still time Sophie, just say you changed your mind and move to Colorado” I thought to myself. “Sophie!” Hazel yelled my name from downstairs “Ugh what now?” I murmured, still laying on the bed with my face still buried in my hands. “Don't make me come up there and get you myself now Sophie! Get down here” she added. I got up and stormed out “What.. what?” I yelled back as I went downstairs She just stood there smiling at me as I approached her. “Well..?” I said now standing in front of her. The smile on her face didn't fade, mom and dad too were smiling too.Dylan was in the living room talking with Kylie. “Are you going to talk or just keep smiling at me?” I said out of frustration “Okay okay..” she chuckled. “So.. He agreed” she said, squeaking in excitement. “Who agreed? And to what?” I
“Well, is everything alright girls?” mom asked. “Yeah yeah sure, all good” I answered as went towards the dining where she was and Hazel went to meet Dylan and the rest of the fam in the living room. “Hm, Sophie, are you sure you're okay sweetheart?” she asked further stopping what she was doing and looked at me. “Mom, yes I'm okay. Please” “Alright then. Help me finish setting up here will you” We set the table and everyone came gathered together for lunch. I sat opposite Dylan and Hazel sat beside him. Mom and dad were at both ends of the table and Kylie was beside me. I kept noticing Dylan taking glances at me through the corner of my eyes but not once did I look at him. I wanted to, but the whole family was right there, I couldn't risk getting caught staring at my sister's husband. After we were done eating, still sitting at the dining, Hazel called for everyone's attention. “So, that was delicious.” she said “Ugh, so so good” Kylie agreed. “But, I
wanted to move, my body just wouldn't. “You're driving me nuts Sophie From the moment that I set my eyes on you today up until this moment, I have not been the same. All I keep seeing and thinking is you”“.. Dylan” I tried to cut him off “Shh” as he got even closer and grabbed me by my should
“There you are,” Hazel said, smiling as I walked up to her and Dylan. What happened up there? You two were gone a while” she added “Um, yes. Yes.. Th… I got a call. Caleb called me, I got carried away I'm sorry” “Oh it's okay, I was just wondering what took so long as I didn't find either of you
And just like that, the ceremony began. Dylan was already standing at the altar and everyone else rose to their feet as Hazel and dad walked in. Everybody had their eyes on the couple as they stood in front of the congregation exchanging their vows but the groom kept stealing glances at me as I s
I swallowed hard. “Wh.. What? What do you mean?” I chuckled nervously. “Why the fuck did I just get a notification payment saying you spent seven fifty dollars on my card!?” She yelled, pointing the phone at my face. I let out a sigh of relief. “Oh.. That..” rubbing the back of my neck, w
