"What? "My father questions more calmly as he makes his way to my bed and sits beside me.

"You were rapped? When did this happen? "My father questions. Taking my left cheek in his palm in ever so sweet affection. 

I gulp before answering "Three months ago. "And he freezes. 

"What? "He questions in pure confussion and I look up at Derrick before answering. 

"I didn't know I was rapped till I tested positive for pregnancy. We then connected the dots and found out how the child came about." I reply and my father looks over at Derrick who in turn looks away. His mood is still sore. 

"Tell me dear, who did this? "My father questions and I watch my heart jump out of the window. 

"Answer me dear. "My father persuades and I look up at Derrick. Begging him with my eyes not to let me do this alone.
