Chapter {58} Small Wedding

Derrick POV;

 I'm on my way to Lisa's house. It's been a while since I last saw her and she's been worried about me. I told her that I have been busy with some things. In quote, 'minor issues' but I never really gave her an insight on anything that has been happening.

So, I can fully understand her worry.

 This morning alone has been drama-filled for me. I went with my dad to Dayos house to try convince Esther to please come back home with us, but she refused. Saying she meant it when she said she was never coming back. 

All three of us. I, my dad and Dayo tried to convince her but she didn't budge.

 I pull up at Lisa's house and her jolly gate man greets me. I smile at the Igbo looking hausa man and hand him a thousand Naira note. Our usual tradition. One in which he greets and I give him money for being polite.

 I Walk under the morning sun's warm shine to Lisa's front door. I ring the doorbell
