LOGIN"What do you mean?" Lysandra asked with a furrowed brow. She walked over to her daughter, looking at her with a questioning look.
Callista looked stunned; she didn't know where to start. She thought Caspian must be in danger because the man's bracelet had fallen off the body of the werewolf who had just left her room. She couldn't say that because she had promised not to tell anyone. She was afraid that the werewolf would come back and kill her.
"What happened to Caspian?" Kairos asked because he was very worried about his son. Especially since his relationship with Caspian had been very bad lately.
Callista bit her lower lip. She didn't know what to say, but her body language showed that she was really panicking.
"Caspian... he— Callista's speech stopped. She really couldn't explain anything.
"What happened to your brother?" Lysandra shook her daughter's body, as she was completely panicked by the expression on Callista's face.
Caspian, who had successfully transformed back into human form, rushed out of his room and approached the noise downstairs. The man was startled when he realized his bracelet was in Callista's hand. His hands were tightly clenched, his forehead was furrowed, and his eyes seemed to glare fiercely. He thought Callista would tell their parents that he was a werewolf.
Caspian quickly approached and snatched the bracelet from Callista's hand.
"I've been looking for this bracelet since morning; it was you who stole it from me. You know this bracelet means a lot to me." Caspian said harshly. The bracelet was a gift from his late mother on his seventeenth birthday. It was more precious than anything else because it was his mother's last gift.
"You're back already? I didn't know when you'd be back." Kairos looked at his son in confusion.
Caspian looked stunned, for he had entered the house through the window.
"Are you okay? I thought something happened to you because Cally looked so panicked." Lysandra also showed concern.
Caspian gave Lysandra a cold glare. "It's none of your business, and there's no need to act out in front of me." His tone was the same as always, cold and very piercing.
"Are you alright? I thought you were—"
"What were you thinking? By stealing my bracelet, you want to make up a story out of thin air?" Caspian immediately cut Callista off.
Callista was silent. She was used to the cold and rude attitude of the man. Their relationship was very bad. Caspian didn't like her, so any explanation would not be accepted by him.
"I think it's just a misunderstanding; thank goodness if everything is okay." Kairos tried to cool down the atmosphere.

"Today Cally has an activity at her college, so she'll be home late. You know, lately our city is not very safe since there are werewolves that have been spotted on the loose several times. You pick Cally up from her college after you get home from the hospital." Kairos looked at his son.
"I don't want to." Caspian immediately refused firmly. He didn't seem to care; he just focused on the piece of meat on his plate.
"She's your sister; you should pay more attention to her."
"She's not my sister." Caspian continued to refuse.
"Dad, I can go home by myself. I'm an adult; I can take care of myself." Callista tried to convince her father.
"No, it's too dangerous for you to go home alone. Caspian must know his responsibilities as a brother."
Caspian still looked indifferent and didn't want to respond too much.
Lysandra looked at her stepson, who had been eating more meat lately. She was worried that he was lacking in vitamins and fiber. She took a few pieces of vegetables and put them on Caspian's plate.
"You should eat more vegetables; it's not good if you only eat meat." Lysandra said with great tenderness. She looked sincere and loving.
Caspian chuckled; he looked annoyed with Lysandra's attitude just now. The woman's actions had made him lose his appetite.
"I'm full." Caspian rose to his feet; he left the dining table and hurried to work. At 25 years old, Caspian already held an important position in the hospital where he worked. Not only was he a surgeon, but he also joined the research team for viruses and rare diseases to find and develop new drugs. His genius in medicine made him the youngest surgeon in his city.
"Casper!” Kairos called out in a high tone; he was a little annoyed with his son's attitude. Not only was he cold, but he was also rude to Lysandra.
"It's okay; maybe he had a surgery scheduled this morning, so he was in a hurry to get to work." Lysandra tried to calm her husband down.
Kairos could only sigh in resignation.
In the afternoon, when Callista finished class and wanted to go home, her cell phone rang. It was Orion, who had been out of town for business for the past three weeks.
Callista was very happy to receive the call because she missed so much.
"Look back," Orion said softly after Callista received the call.
Callista turned around and looked back. She was wide-eyed with delight to see her boyfriend standing waiting for her. The man was carrying a bucket of roses, walking with authority towards her.
Callista smiled widely; she ran over and immediately hugged Orion to pour out all the longing that was building up in her chest. This sight was very eye-catching. Moreover, Orion was very famous. Not only was he handsome, but also because he was the sole heir to Ottawa's wealthiest family, the Blackwoods.
"Isn't he young master of the Blackwood family?"
"Who is that girl? What's her relationship with the young master?"
"Are they dating? Lucky her."
People started whispering to each other. Some people looked jealous; others looked happy.
"You're back from out of town? Why didn't you tell me?" Callista said spoilingly, and she looked up at Orion's face without letting go of her hug.
"I wanted to surprise you on purpose."
"I missed you." Callista buried her face in Orion's chest again. She breathed in the scent of his body deeply. The scent of his body was able to calm Callista's slightly messy heart.
At the end of the street, Caspian was waiting for Callista. He was forced to pick up the girl by his father; fortunately, he had injected a vaccine into his body before sunset, so he wouldn't turn into a werewolf tonight.
"I should have asked for her number so I wouldn't have to wait for her like this." Caspian chuckled with annoyance because he didn't like being made to wait like now.
While staring in a random direction, Caspian accidentally saw Orion embracing a woman. He squeezed the steering wheel hard. His jaw hardened; the look in his eyes seemed to change. He didn't expect that he would meet his nemesis in a place like this.
Caspian was left speechless and wide-eyed when he realized who the woman with Orion was. His hands clenched into tight fists. He unconsciously felt jealous when he realized that the woman was Callista. How could that be?
Caspian immediately got out of his car, rushed over to Callista, and pulled her roughly.
"My father paid for your tuition here not so you can flirt with men!"
“Honey, are you okay?” Orion asked worriedly after Callista woke up. He held her hands, his eyes showing immense anxiety.“I don’t want this child. Why did I have to be pregnant with his child?” Callista burst into tears. Her cheeks were wet with tears. She sobbed. Her shoulders heaved with sobs.Orion squeezed the back of her hand gently. He smiled lovingly. He stroked the top of Callista’s head affectionately.“I don’t want you to suffer because you have to have an abortion. Let’s have this child and care for it together. Whether he’s mine or not, I’ll still love him,” Orion said in a reassuring tone.“I don’t want to. I feel disgusted every time I think about being pregnant with his child. You know how much I hate him.” Callista continued to refuse. She was literally going to go crazy if she kept thinking about it.“Callista!” Kairos and Lysandra ran into the room to approach Callista. They rushed to the hospital after receiving news that Callista had fainted due to pregnancy. Orio
"How's Callista?" Lysandra asked after Orion left the consultation room. Today they were seeing a psychiatrist to treat Callista's mental health problems stemming from recent events."She's much better. She asked to speak with the psychiatrist privately, so I left," the handsome man answered calmly. He had never felt this calm after all the troubles Callista had been through. He could only breathe a sigh of relief after Callista's parents learned of their plight. Caspian had now left their home, and no one knew where he was. At least Callista would feel safe from now on. Home was finally a place of comfort again, no longer a hell that brought her so much fear and torment. They waited there for a long time, until Callista also emerged from the room. Her face looked much calmer. The smile finally returned, and her eyes symbolized happiness.Lysandra immediately rose to her feet and approached her. She hugged her daughter tightly. She couldn't imagine how much Callista had suffered.“I’m
“How many times have you done it?” Kairos interrogated him in the living room. It was just the two of them. Lysandra and Orion were busy taking care of Callista.“I’ve only done it twice. It’s no big deal. Callista and I aren’t related by blood. It’s natural for us to have sexual attraction. She’s been in this house for years, and there’s no harm in her offering her body for me to enjoy,” Caspian replied casually.Kairos was completely shocked by his son’s response. His chest ached. He touched his chest to ease the pain. His face was flushed, his jaw clenched, and the veins in his neck were clearly visible.“You’ve truly disappointed me. I’ve never had a son as horrible as you,” Kairos said, deeply disappointed.“I only made love to her, and she enjoyed it immensely. No harm was done to anyone.” Caspian tried to defend himself.“Enjoyed, you say? Can’t you see how much trauma you’ve caused her?” Orion retorted, his emotions soaring. He descended the stairs with an indescribable feelin
"I'll be fine, so you don't need to worry," Callista tried to reassure him as Orion and his parents were about to leave. She was willing to stay longer at the house to spend more time with her family before she got married. Her facial expressions and eyes showed that she wanted to go. Deep down, she was convinced she wasn't safe there. However, she pushed those feelings aside to please her parents.Reluctantly, Orion returned home without Callista. He was very anxious, unsure whether Callista would be safe with Caspian at home. Although Lysandra and Kairos were there, they weren't with her all the time. Caspian had plenty of opportunities to harm Callista.Callista smiled reluctantly. She waved goodbye, watching as Orion and his parents disappeared into the distance."There's no need to feel sad. Orion is just returning home, not wanting to go far away." Lysandra tried to be understanding.Callista nodded in agreement."You should rest now; you're not fully recovered yet," Kairos said
"Uncle, I understand that you don't want to discriminate between Caspian and Callista. You must love them both very much, which is why you asked Caspian to join us. However, with all due respect, I don't want Caspian to disrupt the atmosphere like he did now. I don't want Caspian to attend our engagement or our wedding." Orion expressed his feelings. He had been trying to repair his relationship with Caspian. However, after what Caspian did to Callista, he was furious and considered him his worst enemy. The friendship they had built over the years was no longer his."Isn't that too much? You know Caspian is very temperamental. You've known each other for decades. You know Caspian very well. What he says doesn't always match what's in his heart. Please don't punish him so harshly." Kairos tried to defend his son.No matter what Kairos said, it couldn't change Orion's decision. He didn't want Caspian at their important event. Not only because he would mess things up, but also because Ca
“Honey, look at me!” Orion said softly once they were alone. He cupped Callista’s face with his palms. He looked deeply into her eyes. They stared at each other for a moment.“Calm down, honey. I promised you I’ll be safe as long as I’m here. If you hear that bastard’s name or meet him, don’t show your fear. He only does things he doesn’t want you to do because he thinks you won’t fight back. Show him that you’re not afraid because you have me by your side.” Orion pressed every word.Calista remained silent.“Your parents have agreed for you to move in with me. This is your last day. We can move in tonight after the farewell party, so you don’t need to be afraid anymore. That bastard will never touch you again if you live with me. I promise I’ll protect you with all my life. If he threatens your safety, please don’t be angry with me if I act brutally against him.” Orion spoke firmly.Calista remained silent. She bit her lower lip as she continued to stare at Orion.“You trust me, righ
