So, I had a girlfriend and I was just finding out? How interesting. 

“Cheating? When did you ask me out?” I teased. 

“I think you’ve become delusional,” I said, pulling off my shirt and dumping it in the laundry basket. 

Cheating? We were never a thing so why would that thought even get into her head? Where was all this coming from?

“I’m serious Zane, it’s high time we become serious,” I looked at her to see there was no trace of a joke in her eyes. She was dead serious. What had gotten into her?!
