"Hi Nova," I greeted my sister, as I entered her hospital room, causing her to sit up on the bed she was lying on.

"Hi Niv. You are here early. Where's Mom?" She asked, looking at the door expectantly.

"Sorry, Stella wasn't able to come with me, something came up. But she will be here by evening,"

Bending to give her a hug, I asked.

"What's up? How are you? Hope the chemotherapy is going well?" I questioned in rapid succession.

Nova was looking better than the last time I saw her which was last week, her skin recovering some of its former healthy glow but she was still skinny.

"It's going well Niv, stop being a worry wart," Nova stated jokingly, her beautiful face pulled into a teasing smile.
