Chapter 38

Funke is in my house, I kept repeating those words to myself. It's been ages since I last set my eyes on her, I wondered how she looks now? Does she still have those beautiful dimples of hers? Of course she must still have them. Dimples just don't disappear. Silly me.

I was really excited to see her but I had to remain calm when I met her. I don't want to start acting all silly and excited around her like a clown.

Pushing my head backward, I rested it on the car seat and became lost in my own thoughts....

When I arrived home I quietly walked to the main entrance door as if I was a criminal planning on robbing the house. Funke was nowhere to be found in the compound which could only mean one thing: she is inside the sitting room already.

When I got close to the door I started hearing female laughter coming out of the sitting room. My best guess? It was Felicia and Funke.
