Danica’s POV
After the meeting I just couldn’t stand the emotions that were boiling up inside of me. I kept thinking about the rogue that I saw slinking back into the woods while I was standing there watching our old pack house burn to the ground. Could that have been the “Noah” that Nichole was talking about. I will always remember the deadly smirk that he had on his face as he took one last look back at me before he? Disappeared back into the wilderness.
That was the last straw. I needed to run for a while. Running in my wolf form was always the best way to think about things and to put them into perspective. I got some of my best ideas that way.

Danica’s POV I still haven’t found where that delicious scent is coming from as I go down to the party. I take a quick look around at the final touches and I am very pleased with how things look. Jessie’s POV I yelled at my warriors to carry Alpha Jackson to the pack hospital as I scooped up Danni’s limp naked body into my arms bridal style and ran out of the room with her heading in the same direction as my warriors. I didn’t realize that I hadn’t even told Beta Jacobs goodbye before dashing out of the room. For the life of me I could not understand what had transpired between Danni and Alpha Jackson inside of that office but I knew that I would damn sure get to the bottom of it all. As I ran into the pack hospital just behind my warriors they had two beds ready and waiting because I had linked the pack doctor on my way there.
