Logan's POV

I sat in my office with a heavy heart. Last night, Lian told me about the strange man she encountered in the palace who was disguised as one of the soldiers. The alarming part was that he varnished around Jennifer's chambers.

This just confirmed my assertions about strange men visiting Jennifer's chambers in disguise.

Last night, Renae didn't sleep well. Her sleep was riotous, she tossed her body here and there, muttering in her sleep.

Her murmurings were deep reflections on how she met me by chance and fell in love with me. I couldn't help but smile. The other part was scary. They were reflections on what transpired between her and Jennifer at Eden's grave.
