Lian's POV

I was sitting in front of my chambers thinking about everything that had happened recently. Renae's return was indeed a blessing, but it had made Jennifer bring out her claws.

I had decided to spend more time in my chambers than at Renae's or mother's chambers. My chambers gave me a better view of Jennifer's chambers. I had men who were watching over her, but I felt better spying on her too.

I need a break tonight. I would go on my hunting trip. And I just have a feeling that it would be a big one. I was going to catch a big game.

"Targon, prepare my full hunting gear, we are going to the hunting range tonight," I said to my guard.

"You mean we? Am I going with you?" Targon asked.

"Yes, tonight,"

"On it, my princess," Targon said and vanished out of sight. What a good boy he had been.

I lay down on the sofa on my porch, trying to catch some sleep before the night fell. I had hardly closed my eyes when my guards announced.
