Logan's POV

I left my office later than expected. I had some files to deal with and other unexpected functions came up too.

After dealing with them, I got down to the training ground to see my men. They had retired to refresh and after

that, another round of training would come up.

Seeing that all was going on as expected, I made my way down to my mother's chambers, Renae on my mind all the way.

The guards announced my presence as I appeared and without wasting time, I burst in.

"Why are you just coming now?" Lian questioned. She was hanging around the porch, possibly waiting for me. I ignored her and walked in.
