Chapter 17 - Tulips

Kyle said his goodbyes to my parents after he and my father finished chatting.

"I'm sorry for disturbing your night. I should probably go. It was nice seeing you again sir." He said.

I walked him outside to see him off. But we decided to talk a little so we went to the garden. He really has changed a lot. His appearance was so much different from the nerdy Kyle I knew.

"You changed." I blurted.

"I guess so. It was necessary." He said.

Then it went silent.

"So? How are you? It's been almost a year." He asked.

"I'm fine. Luke helped me with my company so it's doing really well." I said.
