Chapter Three: Seducing Mr. Garrett Montercarlo

"Thank you, Nana Lydia."

The old woman finally opens the door, and sure enough, it was Garrett standing by the door

Dana almost forgot how to breathe while looking at her handsome husband.

He looks almost exactly the same the first time she met him, ten years ago. She's still swooning over him after all these years. She's still drawn to his big, warm eyes which stares back at her as if he's searching her inner soul. He got an almost perfect nose, not too high nose bridge, not too low, either. He also got a defined and chiseled jaw that can me compared to a Greek sculpture tht can be seen in the museums. He got all the muscles in right places, and he's tall and lean. He got a great body physique, and just by looking at him ignites the passion of fire inside her...

"Why aren't you sleeping now? And have you taken all your medications?" her husband asked her, while looking concerned.

"Oh, I already did. I just had a chat with Nana Lydia because I felt like we had lots of catching up to do." Dana smilingly responded.

"I see." Garrett nodded in return, as he opens the cabinet to get some clothes.

"Did you already eat dinner? If you want, I can ask Nana Lydia to prepare something, and I'll accompany you..." suggested Dana.

"It's alright. I already had dinner with the harvesters at the mango farm." stated Garrett.

Dana watches her husband take off his work jacket and his work gloves.

"So, how's your work at the farm, love?" Dana decided to ask about her husband's day.

"Well, same as usual. We're going to harvest all the mangoes tomorrow, and we're going to get it ready for export." Garrett shared what happened at work the whole day.

"That sounds like fun! Can I go to the mango farm and watch you work?" Dana suddenly suggested, while looking excited.

"I'm sorry, but you can't do that. You just came out from the hospital and I can't let you stay in the farm under a high temperature. You're still in your recovery period, remember?" Garrett reminded his wife.

Dana pouted in return, while looking a bit disappointed.

"No, don't give me that look. I'm not going to change my mind. Anyway, you need to sleep now. I'm just going to take a shower so you don't have to wait for me." Garrett instructed her.

And before Dana could protest, Garrett is already making his way to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

She sighed in return, as she pushes her own wheelchair. She tries her very best to get on the bed. She decided to wait for her husband to finish showering, join her in bed, give her a goodnight kiss, and who knows what will happen next.

She giggled, while thinking those naughty things. She's looking forward on sharing a wild and passionate nights with her husband, as she stayed in the hospital for more than one year.

Dana gets herself ready for what is about to happen tonight...

===============================

The next morning.

Dana lets out a soft groan as she slowly opens her eyes. She can see the rays of the morning sun illuminating the whole room, and she can see the chirping sound from the morning birds.

As she's finally awake, she glances at the other side of the bed where her husband usually sleeps.

But she frowned in confusion when she realized that her husband is not there. Her frown deepens when she noticed that there were no creases on Garrett's pillows and on the bed sheet.

Dana gets one of the pillows and she tries to sniff it. She can't smell her husband's scent from the pillow.

Her plan was to stay awake and wait for her husband, as she was expecting him to make love to her last night. But she's guessing that the reason she immediately fell asleep last night was because of all the medication she took...

But does this mean that her husband didn't sleep with her on the bed last night? If yes, where the heck did he sleep last night? And the most important question is, why didn't he sleep with her in one bed?

Dana snaps out from her reverie when she heard someone knocking on the door.

"Dana, dear?" it was Nana Lydia knocking on her door.

"Please come in, Nana." she calls for her.

When the door opens she saw Nana Lydia, along with a younger female house help who's carrying a tray of food. They both greeted Dana a good morning.

"I knew you would wake up at this exact time. By the way, I made you some light breakfast. Toasted bread with strawberry jam, a cup of decaffeinated coffee, some sliced fruits, and a glass of orange juice. You need also need to take your morning medicine." the old woman reminded her.

The house help laid down the tray on a special table. Dana thanks her, then afterwards, she left the room, leaving her and Nana Lydia.

"Nana, where's Garrett?" Dana asks.

"He left at the wee hours of the morning, Dana. They're going to harvest the mangoes, so he's going to be very busy today." Nana Lydia informed her.

Dana also wanted to ask her if she knows where her husband slept last night, but she decided not to because she doesn't want to look and sound suspicious of her husband.

"What are your plans for today, my dear? Do you want to roam around the garden to breathe in some fresh air? I can go with you if you want..." Nana Lydia smilingly suggested.

Dana's eyes sparkled in excitement, when she suddenly thought of a wonderful idea.

"I want to visit my husband at the mango farm, Nana! I can also help you deliver lunch to him and to the harvester at the farm!"

Nana Lydia looked a bit surprise with her idea, but after a few seconds, she lets out a small smile and nodded as an answer.

"Well, if that's what you want. I can ask the driver to drive us to the mango farm to see your husband."

Omg this is the most horrible grammar and usage there’s no way I can read past the first few pages. It reads like the essays of my 6th graders, and some of them could do better. Wth!
