Sean's POV.

I just got home and realised that there was no one at home. Emi had gone home earlier, as was her work schedule, while Arabella was nowhere to be seen.

"Bella?" I called her name while checking the various rooms in my house. Starting from the first floor, her room, to the other rooms on the second floor. But the result I got was nothing.

I was already feeling panicked when I went back downstairs. I remembered that when I had just entered the house, only the living room had the lights left on, so I could tell that Emi was the last to leave. I immediately called Emi, who answered on the first dial tone.

"Good afternoon, sir. Can I help you?"

"Emi, did Bella tell you where she went earlier?" I asked on the phone. Emi immediately said yes and answered in the southern city centre.

"Is Miss not home yet?" asked Emi before I could hang up.
