37th Chapter

The days went by too fast for my taste. It was incredible days! But they passed very quickly.

We saw the fireworks at Praia da Redinha. There was a big bridge there and it was a beautiful sight.

Too bad I couldn't celebrate the way I wanted to, because I had to stand by Lorenzo so that no one would suspect anything.

Lorenzo is an important guy and many people know him. I know that these many people must say things about me and of course I do not want to give more reasons for them, like I have an affair with his son.

We were having breakfast and were going home. Too bad, but dreams don't last long.

“Your birthday is this month, isn't it?”

I widen my eyes. I forgot my birthday!

“What day?” Asks taking a sip of his coffee.

“Eight.”

“It's not far. You’ll be eighteen years old. How does it feel?”

Daniel appears when he says that and looks at me.
