Chapter 193: Olwen at the hospital

"Luca. So you're here." Kaylin called out bravely, then walked over to Luca.

"What do you want?" Luca asked coldly as Kaylin stood beside him.

"I just wanted to apologize to you." Kaylin gets to the point: "It seems like my mother's and father's expectations have made you uncomfortable. As for the engagement, it's been annulled."

Kaylin did not mention that she liked Luca. Partly out of embarrassment, partly because he didn't want Luca to know. If Luca knew he would probably stay away from Kaylin, and stop seeing her as a friend. And that's what Kaylin didn't want to happen.

"Hmm." That was the expression that Luca represented. Very indifferent and somewhat cruel, making Luca feel sorry for himself.

Realizing Luca didn't want to talk, Kaylin decided to leave.
