Chapter 117: The next step

I tried to wrap my head around everything Ian said, all this time I was beyond stressed out trying to live with everything I did and it wasn’t even me. Yes I injured a man but that was much different then murdering him, Ian was driving while he reached over and grabbed my hand. I stayed quiet as I tried to process everything that happened.

Ian was the first to speak up, “Do you want me to proceed with this Kay? I can finally put this to rest if you want or I can let it go and someone may open this case again. It’s your choice.”

I didn’t know what to answer him, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to relive that night over and over, I knew if everything came out then there would be court and people called in for court. I’d have to face not only Steve, Ethans ex, Bryson, Garth but Darren too. That scared me tremendously, I looked up and Ian and he was looking down at me as we waited at a red light.

“I’m not sure Ian.”

He nodded, “I definitely understand. But I want you to remember you have me he
