"Dylan!"
I gently called out his name, as my fingers dug into his skin. I held tightly on him, my body arched to receive every thrust he was ramming into me. I felt his hand slid lower, pulling me forward until my hips were on the pillow, angled in a way that made every thrust more intense.
I didn't want him to stop. My mind had gone blank with desire, as he spoke against my skin. "you're irresistible, Evelyn," his deep baritone voice sent a tingling sensation that traveled down my spine, causing my toes to curl in pleasure. Suddenly he stopped. His gaze fixated on me and I waited earnestly for what he wanted to do next. But he just continued to stir at me seductively.
I had no choice but to drag him forward to myself.
"Not yet," came his voice again and it made me gasp as raw pleasure burned deep within me.
I closed my eyes, fighting back my climax. Then he began to pound faster, hitting the very soft spot that heightened the feeling.
"Dylan! please," I implored, unsure how long I'd have to withstand the torture of holding myself from chumming all over him.
He moved his hips faster, harder and deeper again that left me clutching him even harder.
"Now," his tone was sharp and before the words could sink in, I threw my head back, my mouth parted and my eyes rolled upwards in utter bliss while a tear rolled down my cheek.
I felt him throb and his movements were sharp until he reached his peak as well. I could see the wetness of his cum on my core and slowly he pulled away.
He cupped my face between his hands before he captured my lips and kissed me until I became breathless. Slowly I gave into the darkness while he muttered something sweet into my ears.

The rays of sun slipped through the room and the bright light forced a groan from deep within my throat. The light was persistent and I forcefully opened my eyes to look around my surroundings and lingered on the man beside him, his muscles were gleaming under the sunlight and his bare skin reminded me of last night.
It was like every other day - incredible. I had enjoyed it for far too long now and I know it was about time to quit. Rolling to the edge of the bed, I picked up my robe and stood up.
"Good morning," his voice made me pause to look at him.
Lying in bed, his chiseled features were softened by the gentle morning light. His sharp jawline and piercing eyes seemed to hold a hint of mischief, even in repose. His dark hair was mussed, and his lips curled into a subtle, devilish smile.
The sheets draped loosely across his broad chest, accentuating the contours of his athletic build. A sprinkle of stubble added a rugged edge to his already striking features, exuding an air of roguish charm.
"Good morning, Dylan." I breathed out as I found my remaining clothes that had been ripped off me yesterday. Sex with him had been nothing but good. But sadly, every good thing must come to an end someday and today felt like the right day for it.
"Who was your night?" He asked but I was too busy putting on my clothes to give a quick reply.
"It was..." I turned to look at him and noticed the proud look on his face, obviously anticipating a praise for last night - something I liked about him.
Slipping out a smile, I continued. "It was good as always," I answered before reaching for the drawer. I picked up a pen and a cheque note, writing something down before walking up to him.
I sat on the bed next to him and handed the paper to him. He watched me with wary eyes, his eyes scanning the paper like a bomb before reluctantly reaching for him. "What's this for?" He asked curiously.
"That's for you. And I have another gift for you," I reached for my bag and pulled out something from it. I handed the keys to him and this time he narrowed his gaze at me.
"Why are you giving me all that?" He furrowed his brows while I forced a smile, something he easily saw through.
"Call it a small compensation. Besides it's been three years now and I believe you deserve these things," I held my breath when he suddenly propped himself up with his elbows, his eyes were stuck on mine.
Slowly a disapproval etched across his face as he observed me closely. "Why are you giving me all these? Are you leaving me for good?" He asked straightforwardly, a muscle ticked on his jaw.
My heart skipped a beat and tightened with guilt. Leaning down, I caught his face between my hands and placed a soft kiss on his lips before standing up to leave. That was my goodbye to him because I couldn't say it directly, I was scared of seeing his reaction.
I quickly walked out of the room, not bothered to give him one last glance as I left. It seemed unfair being with him when he had been nothing but genuine and someone I could run to for emotional support and also physical satisfaction but aside that, my feelings for him were questionable.
They weren't real and it felt wrong. I couldn't keep up with the relationship anymore. I got into the car but even before I could close the door, my phone rang in the silence.
One glance at the caller's ID flashing on the screen, I picked the call. "Good morning, Ms. Janet," I greeted, pressing the phone to my ear just to hear the soft voice from the other side.
"I told you to stop calling me formally. We're family, Evelyn," she said for the umpteenth time. My mother-in-law might as well imprint the words on my forehead just so I wouldn't forget.
"Are you on your way to the airport?" She inquired, causing me to sigh inwardly.
She and her husband had been nothing but nice ever since my childhood. Sometimes I wondered why Seth had to be so different. He changed so drastically, becoming the exact opposite of the man I once loved from childhood.
"Yes," I replied dryly, not the least bit excited to see him. He was a cheat and he never felt guilty over it. If not for the strong friendship his parents - the Alpha of the Jupiter Pack had with my father, the Alpha of Origo pack - then maybe I could've never got married to him.
Not after he cheated on me with the same lady I had trusted. I regretted the day I met Veronica getting bullied and stepping up for her. I had been so blinded with the need to help her after realizing that she was also an orphan. I covered up her education and living expenses just to give her a better life. I even had her enrolled in the same high as me, becoming friends with a snake, waiting to bite you in the back.
I realized I made a huge mistake the moment I let her take my spot in the wilderness training trip after being involved in a car accident, only for her to show up with Seth as her boyfriend. The same man I'd planned to spend the rest of my life with.
"Are you sure you're ready to see him?" She asked, drawing my attention back but not enough to remove the feeling that the memories that were so vivid had brought.
His words were imprinted on my mind. "I don’t love you anymore. I’m in love with Veronica. She’s my mate, and I want to be with her." The words kept playing like a broken record and my fists tightened around the steering.
It felt suffocating just like how I felt three years ago after discovering the truth. I was traumatized.
The pain I felt was unbearable and I so desperately wanted it to end that I had to slit my wrist to end. The sharp edge of the knife ate deeper into my skin until crimson liquid seeped out and pooled around my wrist. There was blood everywhere and I felt like dying.
After encountering death on the floor of my room, I still loved him and I loathe myself for that. Especially after emphasizing that he didn't love me and wanted to be with her instead. If his parents hadn't stepped in and forced him to get married to me three years ago with the inheritance then maybe I could've been a forgotten story to him. Which I was technically.
But even at that, he still wanted nothing to do with me and immediately grabbed the opportunity to leave with Veronica a month after our marriage, given an excuse that he wanted to participate in the training program at the Silver Universe Pack.
He left with Veronica saying. “I’ll give you the title of wife, but I’ll never love you or touch you. You’re free to see other men, and I won’t interfere, as long as you don’t meddle in my relationship with Veronica.”
All his words hunt me but I did heed to his last words. How could men be so cruel?
"Yes, I'm sure I can handle it. I'm there already, so I'll call you back," I parked the car and stepped out before tossing my phone into my bag. The truth was, I was scared and my heart was beating erratically as I waited for the sight of him. I hadn't seen him for the past three years.
Soon I saw him approaching with his lounges on one hand and the other hand was wrapped around Veronica.
She was saying something to make him laugh while they walked closer. My hands followed her other hand and my breath was caught in my throat. Betrayal and shock stabbed me in my chest as I stared at her hand.
My face beaming with joy while my lungs tightened in fear. Anger, fear, shame and regret. Once they were closer,I couldn't help the words from slipping out of my mouth in almost a whisper of utter disbelief.
"A-are you pregnant?”
Francis's POV As the lights flickered back to life, I scanned the room frantically, my heart racing with worry. Where was Evelyn? I had been searching for her everywhere, but she was nowhere to be found.I spotted her friends laughing and chatting, and I made my way towards them, hoping they might know something about Evelyn's whereabouts.
Evelyn's POV I sat in the bar, sipping my drink and listening intently as Francis took the stage. His voice was mesmerizing, and the song he sang felt so emotional, as if he was professing his feelings to a lady through the lyrics. The way he poured his heart and soul into the performance left me breathless. I didn't know how to react to the intensity of the moment. As the song came to an end, Francis walked towards me, his eyes locked on mine. The crowd around us cheered and applauded, but I barely noticed. Francis reached for my hand, helping me up from my seat. His touch sent shivers down my spine."I know this is unexpected," he said, his voice low and husky, "but I couldn't hide my feelings for you anymore. I've patiently waited for this moment, and I have to be honest, I fell in love with you at first sight."My heart skipped a beat as he asked, "Will you be my girlfriend?"I was taken aback by his confession, and just as I was about to respond, the bar's lights suddenly went o
Francis's POV As I walked into the kitchen, I was greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the gentle hum of conversation. Helen and Evelyn were already up and about, their faces bright with morning cheer. They exchanged warm smiles with me, and Helen immediately got to work on making me a cup of coffee."Good morning, Francis," Helen said, her voice warm and inviting. "How are you today?""I'm doing great, thanks," I replied, taking a seat beside Evelyn. "Just ready to take on the day."Evelyn turned to me, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. "So, Francis, do you work on weekends too?"I shook my head. "No, I'm free on weekends. Just part-time gigs during the week."Evelyn's face lit up with excitement. "Oh, that's great! So, how do you plan on spending your weekend?"I parted my lips to respond, but Helen's sudden hissing interrupted me. I turned to look at her, concern etched on my face. "What's going on, Helen?"Evelyn's brow furrowed with worry. "Mom, is everything
Evelyn's POV As I walked to the parking lot, the sound of my heels clicking on the pavement echoed through the uncomfortable silence. Luna Naomi followed closely behind me, her presence a reminder of the tension that had been building between us.I could sense her wondering what had happened, why the sudden change in our relationship. The comfortable and loving air that had once existed between us had given way to regret, anger, and resentment. As we reached my car, I turned to face her, my eyes locking onto hers. "I've been thinking," I said, my voice firm and calculated. "I've decided to recognize Helen as my mother."Luna Naomi's eyes widened in shock, her face pale and drawn. She looked like she had been punched in the gut, her breath knocked out of her. "Evelyn," she whispered, her voice trembling. "You can't mean that."I smiled, a cold, calculated smile. "Oh, but I do," I said, my voice dripping with malice. "I've realized that Helen is the one who can always be there for me,
Stella's POV I knelt on the cold, hard floor, my eyes fixed on Evelyn's unyielding expression. I swallowed my pride, the bitter taste of humiliation burning in my throat. "Evelyn, please... forgive me," I begged, my voice trembling. "I'll do anything. I'll transfer my shares, just please don't destroy our family's business."Evelyn's gaze seemed to bore into my soul, her eyes glinting with a cold, calculating light. "You'll transfer your shares, Stella?" she repeated, her voice dripping with skepticism. "How convenient. But I'm not that easily satisfied."My heart sank, my mind racing with panic. What did she want from me? "W-what do you mean?" I stuttered, trying to keep my composure."I mean that I want those shares transferred to me first," Evelyn said, her voice firm and unyielding. "Before I even think about stepping in to help your family's business."I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. My mind reeled with shock and confusion, my thoughts racing with panic. This couldn't b
Evelyn's POV I stood frozen outside the hospital entrance, my ears perked up as I overheard the heated conversation between Alpha Damon and Stella."You humiliated me, Stella," Alpha Damon's voice thundered. "You brought shame upon our family. How could you be so reckless?"Stella's voice trembled as she tried to defend herself. "I-I didn't think it would blow up like that, Father. I didn't mean to…."Alpha Damon cut her off, his anger boiling over. "How could you be that dumb, Stella? You knew the risks of plagiarism, and yet you still went ahead with it. And now, our family business is suffering. Investment losses, stock declines... it's a disaster."I felt a pang of satisfaction at Stella's misfortune, but it was quickly replaced by a sense of unease as Alpha Damon's words turned personal."Evelyn, on the other hand, isn't that dumb," he sneered. "And she's not even my biological daughter. But at least she has some sense of decency and integrity."I felt a sting from his words, bu
