Chapter Eleven

Kedade stormed into Sunny’s room, fuming with anger, making Sunny turn her face away from her nervously. Kedade closed the distance between them and aggressively grabbed Sunny’s hand.

“Look at me, you wretched witch!” She shouted but Sunny was too frightened to look at her, and this made Kedade so angry that she tilted Sunny’s head and gave her a painful slap.

“What have I done?” Sunny complained in a low tone.

“Are you seriously asking me that question? I confided in you and told you that Pavel was all I had but you still took him from me.” Kedade screeched. “Why? Is it because you are so gorgeous that I cannot compete with you?”

“I never meant to hurt you.” Sunny said; finally looking Kedade in the eye and abruptly feeling a sense of familiarity with her.

“Don’t look at me that way? You won’t fool me with your pretentious eyes, girly.” Kedade sai
