Chapter Fourteen

Lance stared at the picture he and Gabriella had taken after graduating from the Special Forces Training Centre. He couldn’t help but shed tears, looking at the woman he loved. He placed his hand on his heart, trying to suppress the cold stinging pain he was feeling inside. The yearning was overwhelming; his felt like his heart was tearing into tiny pieces, prompting him to lay down on his bedroom floor; weeping bitterly as he recalled the incident at the mall.

“I want to see her again. I have to tell her that I love her.” Lance’s inner voice pondered as distress and anxiety crippled his mind, becoming his companion and giving him restless thoughts. Meanwhile, Sunny woke up feeling a little tired from her trip to town with Pavel. She found Saga eyeing her intently and this made her a little upset.

“I am sorry but boss said that I should watch over you.” Sage explained himself.
