Chapter Seventeen
Saga left Pavel’s room as soon as Sunny walked in with his evening meal. After feeding him, she gave him some tablets prescribed by the doctor and tried to leave but Pavel held her back.
“You haven’t been yourself for the past one week. Are you feeling unwell or maybe I did something to upset you?” Pavel asked her. Sunny didn’t reply. All she could do was think about what Saga had told her seven days earlier.
“I am afraid he has fallen for you and it won’t end well for both of you.” Saga’s voice echoed in her head.
“Sunny, I am talking to you.” Pavel nudged Sunny’s hand, awakening her from her thoughts.
“Mm, it is nothing. Don’t worry.” Sunny said; trying to leave once again but Pavel grabbed her shoulders and rolled over her, looking into her eyes; searching for sincerity. Frenzied, sunny looked back at him.
