It takes a lot out of me to wake up and go on each day, the past few years have taken a serious toll on me mentally, my physical appearance has not changed since she closed her eyes all those years ago.

I was just coming to comment the same thing. I know every book might have a plot hole or timeline issue but this is major mistake
