"I'm not sure, I guess so... "

"Look at her, you've got a fever Alessandra!" Mother was glaring at me and went to the kitchen to get a clean towel.

Grandma brought a medicine with her while Dad carried me and put me on the bed.

"Now, you've got a reserve beat to me because of how clumsy you are. You just took a bath in this cold weather, " Mom scolded me.

Dad looks worried and Grandma was preparing the medicine. "Catching a cold wouldn't make her die, you're overreacting." Grandma tried to calm my mother.

After our eyes met, he just disappeared from my sight in just a glimpse.

I was sure that it was him, the man in my dream. He was real and our eyes met, it would be impossible if it's hallucination because the time that my eyes was locked into his, his eyes did the same too.

That was the reason why I haven't had a good sleep and had a cold because of walking outside in the middle of the night.

I was so sure that it was him, but it's too unbelievable that I would met him here.

Is it a sign that I would encounter him?

and what the hell is he doing on the roof? He just disappeared after our eyes met. It was like I was dumped by that man.

"Don't get sick Alessandra." Dad looks really worried. His eyes were about to cry while holding my hand.

I smiled and crinkled my nose. "Dad, it's just a fever."

Napailing-iling siya.

"You're still sick, I want you to never get sick.

My Dad really is the most sweetest man in the world. He's too precious that I'm jealous to my mother, imagine marrying a man like my Dad.

"Don't worry Dad, I will kill this sickness and win. I'm a strong woman right?" biro ko upang bawasan ang pag-aalala niya.

Tumango siya at hinalikan ang noo ko. "My daughter is a strong woman! Right, I shouldn't worry. You're my daughter after all, " saad niya.

"Alex, Cassandra needs you to fill the tank. It's running out of oil, " Grandma said and sat down on the side of the bed.

Dad nodded and went out from the room to help my Mom.

Grandma looks at me with a worried expression. "Why did I even let you take a bath, " saad niya sa malungkot na tono.

"Grandma, don't blame yourself. It's just a fever, " I tried comforting her but it didn't work.

"Mom? Dad? Grandma?" I tried calling out their names but no one answered.

There's no way...

"Meow meow, " said while looking at me.

He tilted his head like a dog wearing a curious expression.

"How come you're here?"

"H-huh?"

"You just trespassed my dream and now you're here again, that old lady really want to pissed me off."

I left my mouth opened, unable to say anything. I don't understand him, what is he saying? He looks different from that dream—where I met him.

"Aren't you going back?"

"They left me."

"Stupid, it's a dream. You should go back, I don't want to see anyone trespassing my dream."

"Alessandra!"

"Calm down Lesa, I'm here." She caressed my back.

It was a dream, it was a fucking dream. I thought that I was left alone, without that man I wouldn't be able to realized that it was a dream.

"Grandma, I've seen one."

Humiwalay ako sa pagkakayakap sakanya at pinahid ang tumutulong luha saka ngumiti. "I've seen a creature... A mystical creature."

He was rather true or magical, but one thing I'm sure about him.

He's mine in my dreams.

His hair was longer than the last time I've seen him. His eyes were on the burning furnace and intertwining his fingers while sitting on the floor. I saw how his eyes blinked while staring at the fire reflecting on his eyes. He didn't move nor did he speak. I know that this is just a dream, that this situation might just one of my expectations and that this is just one of my imaginations. But still, I wanted to burst a cry and just encircle my arms on his. "If only I wasn't weak," I said sorrowfully. "If only I didn't get sick, then you wouldn't disappear from my sight." I chuckled upon remembering how I pathetically got sick. If only it didn't happen, then I would've been feeding the goats while still living with him.

After the dryad suddenly turned into ashes, I couldn't open my eyes. "Can you still walk? Do you want to ride on me?" Kareem asked. I shook my head to disagree. "It's fine, I can still walk. You're badly wounded so I won't ride on you," I answered. He growled. "It's not like I'm a weak human like you," he arrogantly said. "I never said that you're weak, Kareem. What I'm telling is that you're wounded and it would be very hard for you to move quickly if ever I ride on your back." "I ain't dryad for nothing. You can't even open your eyes so you should at least consider riding on my back."I let out a deep sigh. "Enough with that ride and riding whatsoever you're talking about. I'm fine, I'll be able to open my eyes later.""How s

I need to make sure that the dryads aren't following us. The whole forest was dark and cold. The heavy pour of snowflakes is making us hard to run easily. "Malayo pa ba tayo?" tanong ko sakanya. "I'm not really sure, but we will arrive there before the sun sets up, you need to watch your back and yourself."Was it really that far? Thinking how we went there, naglakad lang kami ni Kareem, it doesn't look far to me. "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly. "Worry about yourself, human.""You seems to be having a hard time breathing..."Bumagal ang pagtakbo niya hanggang sa huminto kami. "Be careful, it's a cliff."A cliff?

"Stop looking at them," he whispered. The image of them seems like a replica of disaster to me. Their eyes were vividly showing me that I am their prey, that they've found me. "Sir, you need to leave the place. It seems like someone just put a bomb on your car." Lumapit sa amin ang dalawang police officer. "What do you mean? It's impossible," my dad unbelievably reacted. I don't know why but when my eyes met her eyes, the cold I felt just disappeared. It was soothing to see her worried expression as if comforting me. It's my first time seeing that expression from her. "Are you worried?" I asked. Hindi siya suma

  • Mystical Reminisce   Chapter 33

"Would you like to witness what a dryad can do for you?"Nakapanglumbaba ako habang pinagmamasdan ang pagbagsak ng snow mula sa langit. Christmas is already coming. Three days before christmas but I feel like the whole Lake District isn't celebrating christmas but preparing for the next crime that is yet to come. A real disaster that no one will ever know how it started and when will end. "I missed him," I whispered. Are you thinking of me too? "I told you, j

  • Mystical Reminisce   Chapter 32

The clock has been ticking repeatedly, round... and unbothered. The letters were like an open door for me to reach the end. There were lots of things I discovered, things that I didn't expect would happen to someone like my... grandma. Love, memories, love... it's all about that. There was nothing to it but a memories that has been kept inside the box for too long, memories of love that I never saw but witnessed through these letters. After the 16th letter, words became shallow and painful. "Why did you leave me?" "If loving you means killing everyone, then I would've done the same thing all over again.""My lady, I can't paint anymore.""I'll stay here on our home, I'll wait and wait and wait and wait... and wait. Until I can hold you again."
