تسجيل الدخولEMILIA'S POV I watched both of them as they slammed the door and bumped inside. Theodore and Cassandra were both together conversing among themselves; it was clear that it was about me. Because each word they say after looking at me, there would be lots of laughter in their faces. I was helpless; blood rushed down from the left side of my eye and covered my eyes. I was unable to clean it off because my hands were tied. “I'm really in pain; please help me get my face cleaned off. It's difficult for me to see.” I struggled to speak. They both laughed at me, mocking me about my looks. “You really need our help, whereas you would rather not be cooperative. It's clear you think this is your territory where you dominate,” Cassandra mocked. “It's obvious that you are really suffering; you were known to be a beautiful lady of all the estate, but just take a look at your face, all messed up because you would rather not act with us. Thai would have behaved in the past if you had been more
JULIAN'S POVI was torn between two feelings, tense and curious. I needed to know what Cassandra was up to, so I curiously went in. I hope she is going to cooperate and reply to all the questions I am going to ask her. She acted very cunningly, and I am not going to hold any actions back. I really needed to know exactly what is the matter with her recent movement. I went in and met her on the couch. She looked tired, but I overlooked it and went ahead confronting her. “Hi, Cassandra,” I said, drawing her attention to me. She furiously stood up; she stared at me unusually until she noticed that I was the one speaking to her. “I wasn't expecting you; why the sudden visit?” Cassandra questioned. “I am sorry if it's sudden and uninvited, but I just had to come here to check on you. Honestly, I was here a few minutes ago, but you weren't around,” I responded. “Oh, you've been here?” Cassandra asked. “Yes, I have been here, but you weren't around. I just had to stay around your house
Julian’s POVI met Jasper at the front of the warehouse. I was tired of exchanging his greeting. “You look furious. What is this actual problem with you?” Jasper posed a query. I sighed out before saying a word. “It's nothing; I will probably come over soon,” I replied.“You don't look like you are going to come over it. Your healing process would really take a long time. I saw you inside the interrogation room, and with your reactions now, I think that whatever was discussed there must have a thing to do with your reactions now. So what exactly is the matter with you?” Jasper demanded. “I just told you, I'm fine,” I said. “But you don't look like you are,” Jasper interrupted. “Are you going to discuss it with me, or would you rather allow me to leave you to die with it? I actually don't know what's always wrong with you. Each time you are being questioned by me, you would always hide it. Yet you expect me to work with you diligently? How am I sure you aren't even plotting bad aga
Emilia’s POVI was struck down to the floor trying to regain consciousness. I stayed in that same position comfortably. It was obvious that this might actually be my end. I already saw that I wouldn't give up until the very end; even if it's going to take my life, I can't spare all those achievements for Theodore. The lady was dressed in a blue striped gown. She was average in height. I couldn't see her face clearly because it was covered with a black scarf. Assume that she was probably going to be someone I know who is actually plotting with Theodore against me. “I'm not sure, but it seems to me like we have met before,” I muttered. The lady and Theodore stared at each other almost at the same time. “I'm lost here; who are you really referring to, me or him?” she questioned. “It is obvious that you already know the answer to that question; stop acting silly,” I responded. “Actually, I am sick and tired of all this drama. You are actually courageous; you are genuinely putting
Emilia’s POVI had lost track of time.Inside that dark cell, there was no difference between morning and night anymore. Theodore had done this to me.Even now, I still struggled to fully accept it.Every time I closed my eyes, I remembered the version of him I once trusted.I sat quietly on the edge of the bed, staring blankly at the floor when the sound of heavy footsteps echoed outside the cell again. My body immediately tensed. The guards stopped in front of my door. One of them unlocked it roughly.“Get up.”I didn’t move immediately.“I said get up!”Before I could react, one of them grabbed my arm harshly and yanked me upward. Pain shot through my shoulder, but I refused to give them the satisfaction of hearing me cry out. They dragged me down the dim hallway again. Then I saw him.Theodore stood near the large table in the interrogation room, dressed neatly in a black suit like he wasn’t the devil responsible for ruining my life. His expression remained calm when our eyes met.
Julian’s POVI had never felt this helpless before.Knowing she was locked up somewhere while I stood outside unable to reach her, it was tearing me apart piece by piece.“This makes no sense,” Jasper muttered as he slammed the car door shut. “None of this adds up.”I gritted my teeth and stared at the massive SWAT headquarters building in front of us. We had been there since morning, trying every possible means to get access to Emilia, but the officers kept shutting us out.No visitation. No interrogation access. It was as though Emilia had vanished into thin air.I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration before marching toward the entrance again. Jasper cursed under his breath and followed behind me.The officer at the front desk immediately stiffened the moment he saw us approaching again.“I already told you…”“I want to see her,” I snapped coldly. “Right now.”“Sir, you don’t understand…”“No,” I cut him off sharply. “You don’t understand. Emilia Laurent is being held here
