I stared at the now-empty field and slowly sat on the ground.

Healer Stephanie's last word kept ringing in my head.

"Not your father, but your brother."

The word... brother... where was he?

The only brother I had... didn't he die back then?

I bit my lower lip as I curled my knees and rested my head on them. "Brother..." I mumbled.

If he were alive... how had he been since then?

Had he been living fine? Was he alright?

Happy? Free?

My thoughts swirled as tears stained my face, dripping down my knees.

The brother I didn't even know anymore. The brother I didn't even recognize anymore. Would he be willing to accept a useless sister like me?

I closed my eyes, raised my head to the sky, and slowly took in the natural greenery scent in the air.
