Three Alphas, bound to her by destiny… yet Selene is already weaving herself into their arms, pretending to be her. Selena has always been the stronger twin. The brighter one. The protector. But now, trapped in her sister’s shadow, she might lose not only her mates… but herself. Betrayal runs in blood. And this time, love may not be enough to save her.

It was supposed to be a happy day. Our eighteenth birthday.
"Selena, dress up. We need to go out to celebrate your birthday." My mother had told us with a strange glow in her eyes.
I felt puzzled, but before I could question her, Selene had cheered, feeling ecstatic.
And then, the journey started.
To celebrate our birthday...
I sat in the back seat of the car with my twin sister’s head resting on my lap. Selene looked so pale again, her chest rising and falling slowly like she was struggling to breathe. She smiled weakly when I brushed a strand of hair away from her face.
“Don’t sleep too much,” I whispered. “We’re eighteen now. You should at least try to enjoy today.”
She hummed but didn’t answer. Typical. Selene was always the quiet one, the sickly one. The one everyone protected.
As for me? I had to be strong, especially since I had my wolf now. She came to me the moment the clock hit midnight. Strong, fierce, and loud in my head. I’d been waiting for this moment my whole life, and I wanted to tell Selene every detail, wanted to make her laugh like we used to when we were kids.
Instead, I just sat there stroking her hair while the car kept moving through the dark road.
Something about the air felt heavy. Our parents sat in the front seats, whispering to each other. Their voices were low and sharp. I thought maybe they were planning some kind of surprise, but the knot in my stomach told me otherwise.
The car slowed. Then it stopped.
“Why are we stopping here?” I asked, frowning. We weren’t anywhere familiar. Just an empty road with trees stretching too far.
“Out,” Father said, his voice cold, with no warmth in it at all.
“What?”
“Get out,” Mother snapped, and before I could react, rough hands yanked the door open.
I gasped when two strange men grabbed me and Selene, pulling us into the night. Selene whimpered, clutching my arm, and I tried to fight, but the grip on my shoulders was like iron.
“Mom? Dad?” My voice broke. “What’s going on?”
No answer.
A cloth bag dropped over my head, cutting off my vision. I thrashed, my heart pounding in panic. All I could hear was muffled voices.
“She’s strong. The other one’s weak.”
“Doesn’t matter. You’ll get a good price for both.”
“They’ll be trained. The Alphas always need more girls.”
My chest froze. Price? Alphas'? Are we getting sold?
We were supposed to be celebrating our birthdays... right?
Was this a prank?
I tried to convince myself, but the unease was overwhelming, and fear gripped my heart.
“Please!” I screamed inside the bag, struggling against the arms that held me. “Mom! Dad! Don’t do this! Please!”
Silence.
I heard the tires of the car crunching against gravel, leaving us behind like garbage.
When the bag was finally ripped from my head, I was standing in front of a tall, rusted gate. Beyond them was a grim compound, the air thick with the stench of sweat, fear, and blood.
Selene clung to me, eyes wide in horror. “Where are we?”
I didn’t know how to answer.
The men shoved us through the gates. The doors slammed shut behind us finally, like the end of freedom.
Inside, girls moved like dolls across the yard, some limping, some carrying buckets, some with bruises covering their skin. The sound of whips cracked in the air. Screams ringing out.
My blood ran cold.
“Welcome to your new home. The Training Center.” One of the guards said, sneering at us.
Training center? What the heck was that supposed to be?
“You’ll learn everything here,” another guard continued as his eyes swept over us, lingering too long. “How to serve, how to obey…and how to keep an Alpha’s bed warm.”
Selene instantly gasped, her thin fingers digging into my arm.
I pulled her close, even though my own knees were weak. “Don’t be scared,” I whispered fiercely, forcing my voice to stay steady. “I won’t let them hurt you. No matter what happens, I’ll protect you.”
But even as I said it, fear clawed at me.
The gates had locked. Our parents were gone. And the future that waited for us was darker than anything I could have ever imagined.
SELENANick frowned and sighed deeply. "The Alphas are back." He whispered. I raised a brow. "Were they out?" I asked curiously. The scent was strong but also chaotic. Though they seemed far away, the chaotic scents seemed to linger in every corner of the castle. It was strange. Especially seeing how they didn't bother to control it. Nick nodded. "They went to a banquet. I guess they return drunk." He explained urgently. "I need to attend to them. You can wait here for me." He added. "Okay," I mumbled in a daze. Nick patted my shoulder gently and rushed away. Watching him leave, the weird feeling in my heart grew stronger, and I found it hard to take my eyes off the long road, leading to the triplet Alphas. The scents... Smoke. Pine. Cedarwood. Why were they so dangerous, yet, alluring? What was this feeling about? My fingers, which had tightly held Nick's doorknob, slid down and fell beside me. I pulled on my gown, hesitated for a moment, and then took a step forward. My
SELENAThe rough clanging of metals resounded in my ears. My head throbbed, and my throat bobbed painfully. I tried to move my hand, aiming to rub my forehead, but surprisingly, only the clanging of metals came through. My heart chilled, and my eyes parted in fright. Looking around, I realised I was in the shared room with Selene. I was sleeping in bed, but none of my body parts except my head could be moved. I had been chained. Chained to the same bed I shared with Selene. Fear gripped my heart as I tried to think. What happened? The last thing I remembered was..."Stay with me, Selena." The word rang in my ears. It was a slow whisper. Dreadful and menacing. Like it'd come from the pit of hell. It was Selene. I struggled frantically as groans escaped my lips. My chest heaved with uncontrollable pain. Why had Selene done this to me?.What had gone wrong with her?The last thing I saw was a painfully sobbing Selene as she stabbed something into my neck, and darkness took o
SELENAEntering the room, I closed the door behind me without saying another word to Nick. Maybe it was the complicated and jumbled-up feelings that had piled up in my heart for the past few weeks, but it seemed like I was starting to lose control of my feelings. My decisions were starting to be abrupt. This was dangerous. Being impulsive... was something I should never do. I knew I would never be able to pay the price. From the kiss with Alpha Raviel and my actions for the past few hours... I needed to rethink everything again. "Selena?" A familiar voice entered my ears, and only then did the comforting orchid scent waft into my nose. My scent... comforting and sweet, somehow calmed my mind a little, and raising my head, I saw a dull Selene sitting in bed. She revealed a small smile on her face, and her eyes drifted down, staying on my lips. "Where have you been?" She asked casually. Her tone was normal, but her eyes... they were strange. Different emotions glinted through
SELENAI stared at the now-empty field and slowly sat on the ground. Healer Stephanie's last word kept ringing in my head. "Not your father, but your brother." The word... brother... where was he?The only brother I had... didn't he die back then?I bit my lower lip as I curled my knees and rested my head on them. "Brother..." I mumbled. If he were alive... how had he been since then?Had he been living fine? Was he alright? Happy? Free?My thoughts swirled as tears stained my face, dripping down my knees. The brother I didn't even know anymore. The brother I didn't even recognize anymore. Would he be willing to accept a useless sister like me?Maybe he would gladly accept a smart sister like Selene instead. I closed my eyes, raised my head to the sky, and slowly took in the natural greenery scent in the air. My aching head calmed, and my earlier determination returned in waves. I wiped off my tears and forced myself off the ground. Rather than wasting away crying all the ti
