“Ciao, ragazzi! (Hi, guys)” Yari exclaimed as he opened the door to his home to them a few nights later.

They were there on Gabrielle’s invitation. With Arturo being born and the Weldon affair, the four of them had very few interactions. So, Gabrielle insisted, and… here they were.

“Good job on the lawyer, Norah,” Yari added dryly.

“Erin Anthony is really nice, isn’t she?” Norah asked him.

But she barely paid attention to the conversation, totally astonished by the house she just entered. While driving there, Leone had told her that the house had been in the family for generations.

“Nice?” Yari repeated under his breath, then turned to Leone. “Did you have anything to do with her choice?”

“No way… Why? Are we about to lose these?” Leone asked plucking at his shirt.

“My stepbrother found her for me,” Norah hurried to say. “I’m sorry… I didn’t know who else to ask. Why? Is she awful?”

“Well… Depends which side of the table you’re on,” Yari said smoothly. “I have to s
