A week later…

Its been a rollercoaster of a week. My head has been spinning since the day I became “Marcus’ possession”. I am not allowed to do any chores. I have my own suite with a cupboard full of designer clothes and I get to sit at the massive dining table and choose what I eat. It’s all so overwhelming.

Nora, other maids and the guards treat me like a princess. It’s still so strange how unrealistically happy they all seem and how they absolutely adore their master. I call them master Marcus fan club.

Today will be my first day returning to school. I woke up at dawn like I use to at Beta Diana’s home. Leroy pulled me back to bed and reminded me that I had nothing to do but get myself ready.

It’s after seven when I walk down the stairs and find Marcus waiting for me.

His eyes light up and his infectious smile spread across his face. Dark chocolate skin tone, sharp eyes and jaw, well trimmed beard and moustache. Beside his wealth, this man is a catch. No wonder girls
