2: A Hooker For The Birthday Boy

Her eyes popped as it dawned on her what she was about to engage in, but her muddled brain and overloaded nerves couldn't let her string a coherent sentence to get out of the predicament without creating a scene. She straightened her back and lined up next to the other ladies. The said pimp approached her with a dissatisfied look in his eyes. “Lose this darling,” he nudged her jacket. “These clients are loaded, they need to see clearly what they are paying for.” Alicia nodded, discarding her jacket warily. She craned her neck to scan the property, and it was definitely a private residence. Before she could find a potential escape route, the mansion door opened and a rather chippy sexy devil appeared. Once his eyes fell on the ladies, a bright smile illuminated his face. He rubbed his palms together gleefully like he was about to unwrap a precious gift.

“I love today's collection, Mathias.” The man said addressing the pimp. “My nerdy brother will have a field day.”

Mathias smiled at the compliment, one would have thought he has won an Oscar or something. The man turned to enter the immaculately extravagant foyer, and the ladies lined up, following closely. As Alicia noted, they had to sway their hips in a certain way while still keeping their backs straights and necks even straighter. She observed that once they came into the view of the VVIP, the baby-kissing smiles were plastered in place. Every lady seemed to know what to do. She felt worse, than a needle probably feels, lost in a haystack.

She decided she had nothing to lose and might as well enjoy her one night of freedom, for she had a feeling her family and Heralds would leave no stone untouched to locate her and drag her back home. When a waiter approached her for a drink preference, she ordered a dirty martini. Not that she had drank anything but wine before, but she knew to survive the night she needed to inhibit her senses and in return lose morals. She gulped the drink at a go and took another. And then another. “You might want to slow down there, babe,” one of the ladies she had come with warned warmly. Alicia turned a blank stare at her.

“Are you new?” The lady asked, making Alicia nod.

“It figures,” she responded with a smile. “I was jittery too on my first day.” She offered kindly, leading Alicia away from the spotlight. “I suggest you hang out around here,” Alicia looked around the spot, wondering what was good about it. “Very few will take notice of you, and you might escape untouched. They have already paid so…” She trailed, but Alicia had already got what she meant.

“Thank you,” Alicia murmured, slumping on the nearest seat. She had begun feeling the effects of the three dirty martinis she had gulped. After a few more pointers, the good lady left Alicia to carry on with her night. Hours passed and nothing of interest really happened, and luckily no one had bothered her.

That simple fact made her feel like she was free to roam around. She stood ready to check out the magnificent place, when she bumped into someone. A certain sexy someone, she noted. “I am sorry,” the good-looking gentleman apologized with a warm smile before stepping past her and walked out of the room. Alicia followed quickly.

“Excuse me,” she called making Theodore, as he later introduced himself, halt and turn impatiently.

“Yes?” He asked with a blank stare, scanning Alicia's clothing.

“Can I come with you?” She asked desperately, …too desperately. Theodore crinkled his forehead, wondering if it is Xavier who had orchestrated the scene playing out. He wouldn't put it past his silly brother.

“Sorry madam, but I do not require your services,” Theodore offered, shifting uncomfortably. It was his first time encountering a hooker, and he didn't know how to feel about it. He feigned a smile and ended up looking like he was fighting a bad case of constipation instead. Alicia chuckled. She was in no way intelligent with men, but the hunk standing awkwardly in front of her reeks of innocence.

“I am not a…” Alicia started but trailed, realizing she might blow her cover. “I am not doing business tonight, I just need to escape and probably find a way out of this property.” Theodore gauged her for a minute and when he deemed she wasn't trying to get with him, he visibly relaxed.

“I am heading to my room,” he blurted. “You can come with until your colleagues are ready to leave, I guess.” Alicia smiled, offering her gratitude, and fell in step with him. Inside his room, Theodore led her to a lavish balcony with a set of black Chesterfield sofas and gestured for her to sit. He disappeared back into his room and opened his nightstand minibar. He grabbed a bottle of Krug Grande Cuvée Brut and two champagne glasses. He had never had a girl in his room, so by all standards, he was clueless. Offering a drink seemed like a logical way to begin.

“Thanks,” Alicia smiled, taking the empty glass from him. Theodore set his own glass on the table before popping the champagne bottle open expertly. He poured a taster for Alicia and once she confirmed she was okay with it, he poured more and then filled his glass before setting the bottle on an ice bucket. He then peeled off his suit jacket, loosened the tie, and opened the two top buttons of his shirt. After folding the sleeves to the elbow, Theodore sank onto the sofa beside Alicia with a deep exhale. “Finally,” he grumbled, rubbing his palm over his face and let his head fall back on the sofa with a deep exhale.

“Couldn't wait to get away, huh?” Alicia teased, taking a sip of the chilled bubbly, loving the tingly feeling in her throat.

“I was miserable,” Theodore groaned breathlessly gazing up.

“Then why did you attend?” She asked curiously.

“I sort of had to,” Theo answered.

“Do you know the birthday boy?” Alicia asked, wondering why he felt the need to put himself through torture if he wasn't enjoying the party.

“I am the birthday boy.” He peeked at her surprised face, sheepishly.

“You hired the hookers?” Alicia asked incredulously, like it would be a crime for Theodore to do such a thing. It made the shy billionaire chuckle delightfully.

“You don't think I can?” It was terrible enough for his family to tease him daily about his naivety, without having a total stranger pointing it out.

“It was meant as a compliment,” Alicia argued making Theodore scoff, but none remarked on it again. A satisfying silence fell between the awkwardly social pair as they sipped their champagne. Alicia surprised herself at how much she packed away, considering she wasn't a heavy drinker.

“Can we watch a movie?” She suddenly blurted, like she had read into Theodore's mind. He, too, wanted to watch something, but he feared it might appear weird to the sexy as hell woman seated beside him.

“What would you like to watch?” He asked casually, trying not to sound too eager.

“Anything medieval-like fantasy,” Alicia answered instantly. “Something we have both watched, preferably. It might be a nice time for a rerun.”

Theo looked at her thoughtfully. “Have you watched outpost?” he asked.

“Yeah, but the last season sucked. Terrible scripting.” She clicked her tongue in displeasure.

“Legend of the seeker?” Theodore asked hopefully.

“Maybe…”

“Come on, what's your issue with it?” Theodore goaded, coming to the aid of his favorite show.

“Nothing, just that right now I prefer something… naughty.” She reddened right after looking at everything but Theodore. He grinned, giving her a knowing side-eye.

“How about the outlander?”

“I loved the sex scenes,” she smirked, tongue in her cheek.

“Me too,” Theodore confirmed with a light blush. “Maybe Tudors will be the better option in that regard.” He remembered the many explicit scenes in the series.

“Sold,”

“Finally, woman.” He growled with mock relief, fetching the remote and turned on the 72 inches screen mounted on the wall in front of them. After slotting in the series, the two sat back and enjoyed watching amidst light banter. Didn't take long before the two began squirming. They were getting hot really quick.

“Fuck!” Theodore swore under his breath, adjusting his pants. The straining of his cock against the zipper was very much uncomfortable.

“They make it seem incredible,” Alicia swallowed, her lips suddenly drying. She crossed her legs tighter as a warmth she couldn't ignore pooled between her legs. Unknown to both, they are virgins. Clueless, inexperienced sex starved adults. No one remembers who really made the first move, but they couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other. Their sloppy kisses and timid touches felt heavenly for the two amateurs.

“I need to…” Theodore began, but Alicia cut him off with a kiss. She moved to his lap, and the billionaire rose with her in his arms. The TV show was completely forgotten. He led them inside, to his bedroom. He lowered her onto the soft bedding and followed right after, closing his lips over hers. Both gave as good they received, grinding their clothed bodies wantonly against each other. When Alicia raised her hands and began unbuttoning Theodore's shirt, it was like a green light Theodore didn't know he needed. The nerdy billionaire sat back on his knees and ogled the sexy moaning mess beneath him, and he couldn't believe what was about to happen. He didn't know where to begin, but he was sure that clothes off, were part of the equation. He began undressing her, slowly revealing her nakedness to his hungry eyes. He can't quite explain what happened next, but before long, he parted her legs, and fucked her to sleep. Even in his sated exhausted state, Theodore still had the grace to fetch his wallet and retrieve a couple of hundred bills, and place them next to Alicia's dress.

Imagine his shock when he woke up the next morning to find a hundred bills placed nicely on his nightstand and Alicia nowhere in sight. His confusion only doubled when his eyes fell on a gigantic bloodstain on his sky-blue bedsheets. There was no doubt in his mind what that meant. No wonder she was so tight, he thought grimly. He felt like a fool for not knowing and feared he might have hurt her since he wasn't so gentle. The thought mortified him.

“I just might,” Xavier whispered, training his hot gaze on Stephen. “But sadly not today.” He added, lingering his gaze on the hunk for a little longer before turning on his heels and re-entering his brother's room. As if on cue, Theo's body began jerking. Martin rushed to hold his son down, fearing that the tubes sticking from his body might dislocate from the involuntary movements. “Xavier,” Theo groaned without opening his eyes. Chances were he was still out of it, and it was his subconscious pushing his fears to be voiced. “I am here, bro.” Xavier rasped, staring at his elder brother intently. “I am here.” He repeated. A good two minutes passed before Theo whimpered. “Please take care of them for me.” And just like that, his body went limp again. "T… Theo, wake up, dammit!” Xavier almost screamed. But the nerd was dead to the world. “Please…” Xavier begged, willing Theo to open his eyes and put him out of his misery. But Theo didn't even move a muscle. Xavier turned and looked

When Hilda, Alicia, and Stephen got to the hospital, Theo had already been transferred back to his private room. Xavier was pleasantly surprised to see Stephen, though he just dipped his head in acknowledgment.“How is he?” Hilda asked softly. Martin shook his head, seemingly worried. “The surgery was a success, but the doctor says he isn't out of the woods yet.” Hilda nodded, peeling at Theo. She wondered if he knew they were all there waiting for him to wake. Alicia didn't utter a word to anyone. She just stared hopefully, as if she were expecting him to simply pop his eyes open. Xavier appeared from behind her and draped his hand loosely on her shoulders. She actually jerked in surprise, for her mind was solely on her unconscious husband. She turned with a frown.“Sorry," Xavier whispered. Alicia gave him a small smile before returning her attention to Theo. “I keep wondering if he will ever wake up.” She confessed, leaning onto Xavier's side with a heavy exhale. Instinctively, X

“Watch your tone with me, young lady.” Hilda retorted with a narrowed glare. Alicia shifted uncomfortably, lowering her head. She hadn't meant to come out so rudely. “I am so sorry, mum.” She apologized mortified. “I am just so…” She stuttered, looking for a way to express her distraught.“We are all stressed.” Hilda reasoned with a sigh, spreading her arms. Alicia walked into her arms and the two women hugged tightly, comforting each other. “He had a complication they had to rush him back to the surgery,” Hilda whispered. “We should be there.” Alicia whimpered. She didn't like the thought of Theo suffering alone. “Please, mum.” She begged. “Martin and Xavier are already there,” Hilda informed. “We can all be there,” Alicia insisted. “And we will. I just needed to give you time to rest fully.” Hilda explained. “Plus, the boys have been through enough exhaustion from yesterday.” Alicia couldn't argue with her observation. “Let's give them a few more hours of a peaceful nap before

Martin was startled awake by the persistent ringing of his cell phone. He picked it up with a grunt. He hadn't uttered a word when a worried voice notified him that he was needed at the hospital because Theo had gone into cardiac arrest due to internal bleeding. Apparently, he had been rushed back to the theater for another surgery. Martin's heart skipped a beat and for a while, he didn't utter a word. His mouth suddenly dried and his breath held. “Sir,” Martin could hear the same voice call him over and over again. He attempted a response, but all that tore out of his throat was a loud sob. That woke Hilda. She immediately thought the worst. Her husband's wretched expression made her think they had lost Theo. “Martin,” she called softly. Her voice shook with dread. That is what drew Martin from his trance. “We will be there soonest.” He told the patient soul on the other end of the line and hung up the call. He turned to a now sobbing Hilda. “Don't tell me,” she cried, latching ont

In the washrooms, Alicia stared at her pale complexion in the mirror, tracing her puffy eyes. They looked bleak… lifeless even. How could fate be so cruel? She wondered. Her Theo had done nothing to deserve the kind of misfortune which befell him. For a split second, she blamed herself for not stopping him when he decided to head out briefly. Knowing Theo, he would have done her will. Perhaps then Rowan could still be alive and she and Theo could be home having the time of their lives with their kids. Hilda, who had entered but decided to watch from the entrance, couldn't take it anymore. Anyone could have deciphered that Alicia was loathing herself for some reason, from how tightly she was clutching at her own chin. “Alicia,” Hilda called, stepping closer. Alicia didn't turn. But she gazed at her mother-in-law through the mirror. Her lips began to wobble, and before the first tear could fall, Hilda was by her side. “Shhh…” Hilda stood behind her and began rubbing her shoulders. “Yo

Theo's surgery was estimated to take a couple of hours, so Martin decided to visit Rowan's mother and deliver the bad news. It wasn't easy. Rowan's mother was his only living relative apart from the daughter. She broke down, and all Martin could do was watch helplessly, especially when he had to tell her that the drunk driver survived. In his mind, he was planning on lawsuits that would ensure the bastard never saw the outside of the prison cell again, not that it would benefit him in any way, but at least it would save someone else somewhere from a fate like Rowan's. Or Theo's for that matter, who was fighting for his life. “I want to meet him.” Rowan's mother declared. She wanted an audience with the truck driver and though Martin didn't know for what, he assured her that he would make that happen. After promising to take care of the funeral arrangements, Martin left the heartbroken grandmother to break the news to her granddaughter. Martin could only imagine the pain the family wa
