Chapter Ten

Aria's POV

I woke up and I found myself lying in Jake's bed. I stared down at myself and saw that I was completely naked. I could blood on the bedsheets and I knew that it had already happened. I tried to out of the bed but I was in too much pain to move, I could even feel my legs.

I dragged myself out of bed and tried to stand but I fell down with a loud thud. I heard footsteps coming towards the room and I stayed frozen on the spot as I was in so much pain to even move. The door opened and Jake entered.

He smirked when he saw me on the floor and I pulled the sheets closer to me.

"Relax baby, I am not going to do anything to you." He said as he squatted and started rubbing my hair.

"You were fine last night." He moved his hand to caress my face but I pulled away from him and he chuckled.

"You were right when you said that we are not going to get any money from your father. We tried to blackmail him and even threatened to kill you if he doesn't give us the money we asked for, but he said he didn't care." He said and I was not even surprised. Though it really hurts to know that your father didn't care that you were in the hands of lowlife thugs.

"Since our plans did not go as expected, we'll just go with my initial plans." He said and I watched him as stand.

I remembered his conversation with Matteo and that's when it hit me.

Is he going to......

No, it can't be.

"Gabriel!" I heard him call out and someone entered the room. It was a man and he looked like one of Jake's friends.

"She's all your, but you only have two hours with her." Jake said as he walked towards the door.

"Jake! Jake please don't this! Jake! Jake listen to me!" I yelled out to him but he just ignored me and left the room.

I look over at Gabriel with watery eyes and he staring at me with lustful eyes.

"It's just you and me baby." He said and the torture began.

I could hear Jake and his friends talking and laughing loudly. I had been crying for hours until I had no more tears to cry. I was just laying in bed as I stared at the celling.

After Gabriel, Jake had four more guys come in and I helplessly endured everything. I cried and begged for Jake to stop doing this and have mercy on me, but he seem to have turned a deaf ear on all my pleads and cries.

Is this what my life had become? What did I ever do to deserve all of this?

More tears fell from my eyes to the already dump sheets. I just wish I would have jumped in the ocean and get everything done with.

Hold on a minute. Do you hear that?

I quickly sat up and listened again.

Silence.

I could not hear Jake and his friends anymore. I slowly walked out of bed and limped towards the door. I put my ear against it and listened but all I heard was silence.

I opened the door and quietly walked out of the room and went to the living room and I found it empty. I quickly walked back into the room and went to the cupboard and started searching for anything to wear. I wasn't going to escape wearing sheets around my body. I found one of Jake's dirty shirts and I put it on.

I walked out of the room and went back to the living room. I was about to go open the front door when I remember what happened last time I tried to escape. I looked around the room for anything to use as a weapon but all I could see were bottles of alcohol all over the floor. I went and took one of the bottles and went towards the door.

I took a deep breath before opening the door and I let out a sigh of relief when I saw no one standing there. I ran across the hallway and went towards the elevator. I tried opening it but it was still on the top floor. I had no time for this.

I turned my head around and saw the stairs and quickly ran towards them. My heart was beating very first. I tripped on one of the stairs and I let out a small squeal. I think I had sprained my ankle but I really needed to get away from here. I slowly stood up and started limping on the stairs, I was in so much pain.

I reached the first floor and started looking around. From a distance I could see a highway, I started walking towards it when I had someone call out.

"Hey! Where do you think you are going!" I looked back and saw a figure standing at a distance. It was really dark and I couldn't clearly see the face.

I turned around and started running towards the highway, ignoring the pain on my ankle.

"Hey! Stop right there!" I heard him yell out again but I did not stop.

I looked around and saw that he was almost catching up with him.

"Ouch!" I yelled out as I tripped on a rock. I tried to stand up but he was already on me.

"Where did you think you were going bitch?" He said as he started pulling me towards the apartment. I recognized him, he was one Jake's friends. He was one of those whom Jake had brought earlier after Gabriel so as to.........

"Let me go!" I yelled as I tried get out of his hold but he was too strong for me.

I bit his hand and he groaned in pain letting go of my hand. I tried to run but he caught me.

"You are going to regret doing that you cheap slut!"

I then realized that I still had the bottle of alcohol in my hand. He started pulling me towards the apartment again and I held up the bottle in my hand hit him on the head.

"Fuck!" He groaned in pain as he let go of me and fell to the ground.

Oh my God. Did I hurt him so bad? I started feeling sorry for my actions.

"You are going to pay for this!" He snapped as he tried to get up but fell back down groaning.

I quickly turned around and started running towards the highway. Tears started flowing down my cheeks as I ran, I was in so much pain, physically, mentally and emotionally.

My whole world had been turned down in just few days. Why did my father hate me so much? Why was all this happening to me? Was I paying for the pain I had caused Axel? Was it really my fault I had done what I did to Axel? Did I really deserve any happiness? Was I ever going to be happy?

I stopped to hold my breath when I was sure I was from the psycho, and cried even more. I ran my hands over my face to remove the strands of hair that had fallen over it, and then ran my hands through my hair.

Oh no! I looked down at my hand and saw an entire ball of hair. My hair had started falling off.

"No! No! No!" I yelled as I fell down on my knees and cried even more.

I stood up after a while and started walking towards the highway.

The highway wasn't very busy, only a few cars were on the road.

I wrapped my arms around myself as I walked along the side of the road. Fatigue took over me and I could feel my body coming down with a fever. I was feeling so good.

I looked towards the road and I saw a few cars passing by.

I am not going to sit around and continue to suffer anymore. I can't continue living my life like this. No one wants me around and if that's how it is, maybe I should just go away and leave this world. The last time I tried taking my life away, Jake stopped me, but this time I am not letting anyone get in my way.

I walked across the road and stood in the middle. I could see a pair of headlights from a distance. Maybe this is how it should be, maybe this is my destiny, I had no place anywhere on this earth.

The headlights drew closer and I closed my eyes and waited. I heard the  horns honking but I did not move.

I drew in a sharp breath as I felt the the vehicle coming close.

I heard tyres screeching and horns honking before I heard a loud thud, and darkness engulfed me.
