Chapter 3

Allyson’s Point of View

As soon as Travis came out of the room we were immediately bombarded by the media. I'm not afraid of their aggressiveness because I know almost everyone here and I chose them myself.

"I'm so sorry to disappoint everyone but I'm with my sister. It's not true that Travis and I are the only people here." Sofia smiled and clung to me.

Sofia, be plastic so that I don't feel guilty for what I do to you.

"Why did your sister just show up in the media?" I looked at the reporter who asked and smiled after seeing I knew it.

"I came back because I need to take care of some personal affairs and also I want to see my lovely sister." I answered the reporter and held Sofia.

They presented to take a photo so I did it with a big smile. It's not against my will to take a lot of photos because I will get a lot of benefit.

"See you next time sissy." I whispered to Sofia and said goodbye.

I don't feel like pretending anymore so I'd better plan my next step to get Travis closer.

I picked up my cellphone and called Zia’s number.

"Accept the contract for me." I am referring to the contract sent to me in Italy by Travis.

He's still ruthless as before but I need to break his arrogance. I promise to hit twice as hard!

After I left the hotel, I immediately got dressed and went to the hospital where Auntie Almira was staying. My tears immediately flowed after seeing that she was still unconscious even though I had not visited her for seven years.

"Auntie, I'm back. Please wake up okay? I miss you so much Auntie." I whispered tearfully to her even though I knew she wouldn’t answer me.

Her lips were too pale, maybe because of the length of time she slept so it was like this.

"Before the accident happened, she always mentioned your name. I'm sure she'll be happy when he finds out you're back." commented Iris, Auntie Almira's niece.

I smiled at what she said because Auntie Almira was really the reason why I came home.

"Thank you for taking care of her Iris. I know you sacrificed a lot of things just to take care of Auntie. I really don't know what to do when something bad happens to Auntie." I thank Iris.

They are really a family by blood, but Auntie is close to me because she was my teacher when I was just starting out in making design.

"I'm really sorry and we can't pay our debt to you, sister. There's nothing left in the factory and all her savings have been used up for our daily expenses."

I turned to Iris and held her hand.

"It's okay, after all, I consider you family. Don't even think about the money, I'll take care of it."

She shook her head at me as if she couldn’t accept what had happened to Auntie.

"I know how much Auntie loves the factory but it's all gone. I don't know how to tell her the factory is gone." Iris cried so I hugged her.

"Don't worry Iris. I came back to find out that truth. I won't leave you in this fight. We will avenge Auntie on the person who did this to her." I encouraged her.

"Thank you sister. It’s getting late already so I guess you need to go home." she said so I looked out the window to see the evening sky.

"I'll be back when I have time." she just nodded at me so I said goodbye before going home.

I didn't take long to travel because my condo was close to the hospital.

"How was it?" Zia opened the door for me and handed me the water.

"I still can't find any evidence Zi." I answered sadly and sat on the sofa which she immediately attended.

"Don't worry because I also didn't get any evidence. I tried to get information from Iris, but she said she didn't know Luigi and only Auntie Almira talked to her clients." I nodded at what Zia said.

"But I have a funny story for you." I raised an eyebrow at what Zia said. The fun was obvious on her face.

"I heard that Travis sent Luigi to the detention center because of his huge debt to the company so we will definitely have a long time to investigate." smiling Zia's story.

"I really don't know what to believe Zi. It's up to you to investigate Luigi's case." I ordered Zia and she nodded.

"I'm just really annoyed because I wasted the opportunity earlier because of Sofia's stupidity. I forgot that Sofia is too young and brainless so I'm flattered that she can win Travis' heart." I said directly while looking at the photo of Travis on the wall of the house.

"I don't think it's a waste. I think the video we got will help you bring down Sofia, because if I'm the one to be asked, this issue is too big when we publicly show Sofia's desperation." smiling Zia's suggestion so I thought about it too. Zia has a point and I can really destroy Sofia's image, but I won't destroy her reputation first. I want her to be happy as I slowly recover the things she took away from me.

"But Ally, is Travis really just pretending he doesn't know you or he really doesn't remember you?" Zia asked me directly so I also thought about what I would answer.

"I don't know if Travis is pretending but I want to see his next step. When I get to know him, he's the type of person who will and will make a way just to answer his own concern. He’s the type of curious guy." I answered and drank some water.

"But what if he doesn't really know you?"

"I didn't go back to the Philippines just to waste my time and another one, I already know knows how to get inside the heart of Travis Tan, Zia."

I still believe that the heart doesn’t just forget especially if you are angry with this person. Travis was so mad at me before I left the country that it was impossible for him to forget an Allyson Romero.

"Just make sure you don't get hurt again Ally, because you know someone is waiting for you in Italy."

Suddenly I remembered some thought about the person waiting for me in Italy and I didn’t know that I smiled out of nowhere.

"I'll just pay the people who plotted what happened to Auntie and I'll go home to Italy right away. I'll try never to return to the Philippines." I replied to Zia and she nodded.

Travis Point of View

"I thought you wanted to hang out there but why did you think of going home early?"

I glared at Chad and threw the necktie I was wearing at him.

"Who can stand a party full of itchy and delusional people?” I spoke directly to him and took a deep breath.

I don't usually socialize with other people, but for the company I will, but I should always have Chad with me.

"And one more thing, why didn't you come in? You know I probably don't know how to get along with other people!" I complained at him but he just laughed at me.

"I'm just reminding you Travis that I'm just your special secretary and not your special someone, so don't complain like a woman and there's another one, you remember that you’re old enough, but you still need my presence."

Suddenly my head heated up so I threw him the pillow on the sofa.

"Don't let me start Chad and I might send you to Brunei in no time." I threatened him and he laughed.

"What just happened and you're so hot -headed?" Chad's question was mixed with laughter.

"Sofia almost took advantage of me and a woman called me her husband and infact I don't even know her." I answered and he suddenly fell silent.

"Even if Sofia locks you in the same room, she can't get you because we know you don't really know anything and another fan might just call you her husband. I read that they claim their idols as their property. " Chad's explanation was serious but I was still not convinced.

"From what I've seen before, she's probably not one of my fans. She knows me so well Chad that I seem to have forgotten her." I answer him.

Suddenly Chad approached me and looked at me seriously.

"I would have told you something Travis but wait for my explanation first."

I didn't say a word and just looked straight at him instead. He sat down first and smiled fakely.

"You're not single anymore Trav." I frowned at it.

What? I'm not single anymore? In my whole life I've just focused on growing the company so it's impossible for me to have a wife unless ...

"You're married seven years ago Travis. I don't want to keep this a secret from you, but I feel like you need to know the truth." Chad said so I was surprised.

All this time I thought I was single, but I was married, but why didn't I even see her when I woke up?

"So she wasn't really joking when she said she was my wife?" I just want to confirm if she is really my wife.

"If she's Allyson Romero then she's your wife." Chad's direct answer.

"So I'm really married." I said again so that I could accept what happened to me.

"But wait, there's something you don't know yet."

I looked back at him and threw another pillow at him.

"If I were you I would tell you everything I know because maybe tomorrow you will be in Brunei real quick." I threatened him and he stood up immediately so I was sat back to my seat.

"What's the matter is, I promised your family that I won't tell you your past so that you won't have problems in life." hand head explanation of it so I threw my shoe at him.

"What problem are you talking about? I forgot my wife so I'm sure I miss her so much Chad. If you had just told me before that I was married I would not have treated her like that. I still need to explain to her so that she won’t think of anything. "

I don't know who I'm annoyed with because I don't remember anything. I also can't be angry with my grandmother because that's all I have, but I just don't understand what problem they are talking about.

"Yes I should have told you everything before, but I have more respect for your grandmother so I will really choose to follow their orders." he answered and threw a pillow at me but fortunately I caught it.

"I'm the one giving you your salary Chad so fix your decision in life." I reminded him and he raised his hand as if surrendering.

"I know you're the one who makes me alive, but don't forget that she’s older than you so I should follow her and I also understand her point."

I was blown away by what he said. It was as if what they did was right, because my wife was a big part of my life even though I forgot about it.

"Why did she keep it a secret from me?"  a question for myself.

"I think she was able to keep this information secret because he just wanted to protect you from Allyson." Chad answered even though he wasn't really the one I asked.

"Protect from my own wife?" I answered the question with another question.

"Your grandmother can't stand when she sees you sad when you find out the truth and from your seven years of sleep, no trace of Allyson visited you so your family decided to forget Allyson forever." he explained which made me angry with Allyson.

She is my wife but she was not able to visit me even once and then she suddenly showed up to me as if she had not failed to be a wife.

"Why? Nothing happened to us before I was comatose, right?" He just shrugged before answering me.

"Your grandma is coming home so you'd better just talk to her. You didn't say anything before you had the accident so I don't know what really happened to you, but as far as I know, Allyson went to Italy and then we lost the news about her. I tried to follow her back to the Philippines because of what happened to you, but I didn't find Allyson in Italy. " Chad replied so the wind from my head blew me away.

"It's amazing that she came home all of a sudden and she actually showed up to you." he added so I suddenly thought of something.

I agree with what Chad said. It's obvious that she’s not after my money because she seems to be living well based on what I've seen before. Her complexion is porcelain and she is really very fragrant. You can really see how rich she is, so it is impossible for her to ask some money.

Unless, maybe she can't forget her burly husband so she can't think of any other way but to come back here and introduce herself to me again.

"From what I can see now, you're definitely raising your own interest again."

I wiped my face to show my confusion.

"Do you think she’s after money? Maybe she’s not suffering of bankruptcy,  because the fare from Italy to the Philippines is expensive and she had a very beautiful complexion before." I answered out of nowhere.

"I'm sure money isn't the reason she came back because the media said earlier, the car your wife brought is hella expensive and believe it or not, the car she used before is a limited edition, so I'm sure she's even richer than you now Travis. " Chad clarifies my question.

"Hire someone to investigate everything she did in Italy before she came back in the Philippines and find out her hidden agenda. Watch every move she makes because she might have a plan to destroy me." I ordered Chad and he nodded.

"What if you fall in love with her again Travis? You probably already know that your family won't like her no matter what else you do." Chad commented so I looked at him badly.

"You're saying nonsense. I just want to protect the company so I'm investigating her. You know, I don't have time for people who cheat abd left me alone." my defense of myself.

I won't let her hurt me again or whatever problem she caused before. I will try to figure out every move she will make so that I can stop it as soon as possible.

"By the way Trav, I noticed something about your sister."

I frowned because of what he said. I don't have a sister so I don't know who he is referring to.

"I'm referring to Yuri, so don't give me that look." he said so I closed my eyes.

The problem is really approaching me now and my problem so called sister is a big problem at the same time.

"What did that adopted woman do again?" I have no appetite for questions.

"I feel like she likes you, because her every move is so weird when you're with hee."

I was immediately blinded by what he said.

"Are you saying it again? You're really nervous about what you're saying Chad. Even if Yuri is just adopted, she can't like me."

I took some water and thought deeply and I blinked again.

"All right, if she doesn't really like you, why did you move house even though you know your grandmother is old?" Chad asked me a challenging question so I could do nothing but tell him the truth. After all, he is a good friend.

"I've known for a long time that Yuri likes me so I chose to leave our house so that she would lose her feelings, but I just don't know if she still likes me, but I hope she don't." I answered him and he immediately approached me.

"All I can really tell you Trav is that you should have just said directly in her face that you don't like her, because based on the shows I've watched, they're the ones who get mad with love that leads to the massacre."

Suddenly I threw the pillow I was sitting on at Chad.

"Don't get me involved in your madness." I just answered him and finally sent to drowsiness.
