Chapter 2

I examined every corner of the room to find the right spot to capture their every move. With my sister being itchy I knew she would and would make a way for her to get Travis.

"Can you make it faster?" Zia asked from the earpiece as if in a hurry.

"I need two minutes to completely install all the cameras. Please stall them."

I need to extend another two minutes because it took me too long to find the right angle.

"Hurry up Ally."

Sweat is starting to come out of my forehead. I was gradually getting nervous because they might see me. I can’t ruin my own plan because it can cause big problems when it happens.

I looked back and forth at my cell phone and was a little taken aback by the thorn after seeing only three seconds left.

"They are on the last floor, hurry up!" Zia said in panicked.

"I'm done, thank you." I answered her and immediately grabbed the cart I was carrying earlier. Luckily I found some trash so I could use an alibi when there was a problem.

Exactly when I was getting the cart they enter the room, so I immediately looked at the floor to hide my face. It’s not yet the right time for us to meet and I also won’t let him see me in this order. I'm Flare, the international critic his aiming for.

"Wait!"I stopped walking and waited for what Sofia would say next.

"Be sure to close the door when you leave." She instructed me that I just answered with a nod. I don’t want to speak because she might notice me.

I was about to close the door when Travis suddenly spoke.

"Don't close the door. People might think we are doing something."he said so I just left pushing the cart I was carrying.

When I left that place I immediately went to my room and immediately got dressed. I have to watch what they do first before I start.

I smile as I look at how desperate my sister is to get Travis. What she did was too old -fashioned so I doubt she will succeed but I want her to succeed so I can prove that Travis is a bad person.

"You've drugged this water, right?"I look back at the screen because of Travis' speech.

I threw away the tv screen because of Sofia’s stupidity. Now is not the time for them to fight so I have to make way for my sisters’ misfortune.

"Zia, proceed to plan B."

Zia's Point of View

I was a little nervous after seeing Travis and Sofia going upstairs. Ally is not done with what she is going to do and I am afraid that she might get caught and something bad will happen.

"Please stall them."I nodded at what Ally said even though I knew she couldn't see me.

I immediately ran up the stairs to the third floor to reach the elevator to delay their going to the eighth floor.

Just like I did with the elevator on the second floor, I also ran every staircase so I could reach every elevator. This is the only way I can help Ally without using violence.

Travis POV

"I'm so sorry Mr. Tan for the inconvenience."said Sofia and kind of clung to me.

Why is this woman's room on the eighth floor?  I'm still quick to get bored with people like her.

"I'll give you three minutes to fix yourself. I don't have so much time Sofia."I spoke directly to her because she might think of something else.

The elevator opened so I had a chance to get away from her.

I just pressed it again because no one was there. I will really thank the staff of this hotel when the elevator continues to open every floor.

I just don't know if the elevator on each floor is intentional or if this hotel's elevator is really broken. On every floor, the elevator always opens even when no one is there. I don't believe in ghosts because I haven't seen them yet.

"Is it really broken?"I asked myself questioningly but Sofia came up to me and held my arm.

"Don't be impatient Travis. I'll take care of you so you can cool down even in the simplest way I know."he said but I pushed her against the wall.

"Don't touch me like you’re throwing yourself Sofia. What if everyone knew that the supermodel they knew had a hidden agenda? You're such a disgrace in my company."I said this angrily but she just smiled.

"I know how much you like what I'm doing right now Travis, so don't be shy because I'm just like you."it answered me and was about to approach again but I looked at her badly.

"One more move and you'll definitely get off the model list in Soul Empire. I'm good with my words Sofia and I know you know that."I threatened her so she stood up properly.

It used to be obvious to me that every motive Sofia gave me, but I really had no plans to hit her especially since I had no plans to find a life partner. Many women chase after me because of the money I have so it is very difficult to find a sensible woman.

"We're here."Sofia said and immediately took my arm.

"Don't touch me Sofia! I'm still your boss and I can remove you whenever I want."I threatened her but she only brought herself closer.

"Well, I'm so sorry to disappoint you, but a lot of people are looking at us right now and if you really want to ruin your name, go ahead and fight me whenever you want."smiling as she looked at the people looking at us.

"You're really trying my patience for you Sofia."I answered her and pinched her finger on my arm.

I don’t tolerate flirty personality, and I also need to take care of the image I have for the company. I don't want to lose everything just because of her.

When we entered the room, we caught up with a hotel staff who had just finished cleaning the room. I even told the staff to open the door because I didn’t want to hear different issues with Sofia.

"Can you please stay here Mr. Tan? We can discuss my contract privately."she asked and sat down on the sofa first. I just remained standing and staring outside the building to hold back. I can smell this woman's plan.

"One minute left and you still want to talk about contract? Are you sure you can say everything in a minute?"I asked doubtfully as I remained standing.

I suddenly backed away after she hugged me from behind. All I don't want is for anyone to hug me.

"I hurt my arm Travis, would you please go to the kitchen and bring me some ice pack?"

Not that I want to serve her, but she is our top model now and I am still waiting for the arrival of Flare for her new chosen model. If only Flare had arrived earlier, I would have avoided this woman.

I grabbed some ice and just wrapped it in a towel because it was the only item inside the hotel I could see. I will definitely give three stars to their service.

"Help yourself."I said and handed her the ice I was carrying.

"Thank you Travis." she said but I did not answer.

"Travis"she calls me so I looked at her.

"I know the weather is hot so drink some water first."she added and handed me a bottle of mineral water.

I accepted it because I wanted to confirm my suspicion and I wasn’t really wrong because I smelled something in the water.

"You've drugged the water, right?"I asked with a smile and I saw her face full of nervousness.

"I don't know what y-you're talking about T-Travis."she answered but was obviously nervous.

"I'm young and the only CEO of Soul Empire so you should know how many women dream to marry me and there are others who want me to have a child with them. I've been almost drugged since I take over the position I'm holding right now, so you can't stand me the old way. "I answered her and handed her the water. "You said this water is safe, right? Then drink it."

She smiled at me to hide the awkwardness she was feeling, but I already knew the stench of every model I held.

"I don't know what you're talking about Travis. I just want you to be cool because you might have a heat stroke."she said and really widened the smile.

"Drink it!"I ordered her and she took the bottle.

As I expected she lowered the bottle. Who else will drink from their own trap?

"I only did it because I love you so much Travis."she explained while wind forcing herself to cry.

"Do you really like me or do you like the spotlight once you become the wife of Soul Empire CEO?"I asked seriously while avoiding looking at her. Maybe when I looked at her, I would hurt her. I just stared at her because she suddenly grabbed my hand so I was alarmed. Aside from the fact that I don’t want to be hugged by anyone, I also don’t want to be touched by people I haven’t given the right to touch.

"I don't care about the spotlight Travis. I really love you so much." She begged and forced my hand to hee chest.

I don’t know if what I did is really painful but she screamed after I pushed her.

"If you really want to continue the luxury you're having right now, then don't try my patience Sofia. You're just an employee and I'm still your boss."I said and turned my back on her because I might have something else to do with her.

"Travis!" She yell so I am distracted by the sound of it. People might misunderstand the situation.

When I took care of hee, the strap of her dress was already on her arm. I'm really not attracted to this woman.

"If you're tired of your job, I can directly give you the major insurance payout and then you're free to ruin your life, but don't forget to payback our investment."I said this and she cried a little.

I really hope she doesn't just become a model because now she looks like she can be an actress.

"I'm not going to ruin my life just to attract you Travis. Can't you really see my love for you? I'm always by your side Travis, so I can't believe you feel nothing for me."

I threw bottles at the wall of the room because I just needed something to vent my anger.

"Don't you dare say those words again Sofia. I will never love you Sofia so stop hallucinating. Also, don't ignore my last warning."I said to her and turned my back on her.

"Little sis!"

I stopped my way out because of the woman who entered. Did she really call an assistant just to get me?

"What a dramatic scene Sofia. I didn't know that you can do this."said the woman and walked closer to Sofia so I followed her with my gaze.

"And you actually even called an ally just to carry out your plan. Indeed a big show for me."yet I nodded my comment and observed the two. They must be nuts!

"Get up and talk Sofia."the woman commanded  Sofia and she immediately obeyed her.

"Don't misunderstood us Ally. Travis and I were just talking about work."said Sofia to the woman. The show of these two looks good.

Allyson's POV

"Don't misunderstood us Ally. Travis and I were just talking about work."I was stunned by what Sofia said. She really thought she could convince me of her old game.

"Ofcourse I'm not a close minded person. It's just that your strap keeps on telling me that you're seducing Travis. I'm scared that you'll ruin your own reputation because of the lust you're feeling right now. I understand how desperate you are but you can't seduce your brother-in-law. "I answered and Sofia immediately adjusted the strap of her dress.

"Of course not!"Sofia's immediate defense of herself.

"Brother-in-law?"Travis said questioningly as he watched what was happening.

This is another one who is also good at acting. I almost thought he didn't really know me the way he stare.

"What are you talking about? Do I really need to play a loving couple with you?"Travis said as he frowned as he stared at me.

My eyes widened at what he said. I know he was very angry with me seven years ago, but there was nothing in our conversation that he will forget that he is married and he himself did not sign the divorce paper that I gave seven years ago.

"I know how much you hate me seven years ago Travis, but you can't prentend that you didn't know me."I replied, frowning even more.

"Look, you're very good at acting and you really included me. I'm a single man so don't involve me in your nonsense."he answered me so I looked at Sofia. She smiled at me as if she knew something I didn't know. Let's just see how far those two have gone. I will make sure I get back the things that should be mine.

"Where's Sofia's room?"

"Room 867 said the woman in the lobby."

"Maybe the open door."

The three of us looked at the door. I celebrated for a while because the media taken by Zia arrived just in time.

"I know you like Travis, Sofia so it's okay for you to take him from me because you're desperate and I can see your every effort, but do you really need to get the media for your flirtation? Uhm, if they'll know about the real story I bet your image will be ruined by everyone around you and Travis will be embarrassed as well. "my sarcasm here.

"She's making stories Travis! Don't listen to her!"Sofia shouted at Travis but Travis's attention was focused on the open door.

"I know you're the one who set Travis and me, Ally. Don't act like you’re innocent here!"Sofia shouted at me but I just looked at her.

"I don't know what you're trying to do and I don't want to know, but I hope you both know what to say and what should be left out."said Travis and approached the door first where the whole media was waiting.

"You know what? I just thought that if I drag you here and I show the media that you tried to attract your brother-in-law, you'll be famous? Maybe it will help your popularity so that you can have a lot of promotions."I suggested to her and she immediately turned pale.

"Don't you dare ruin my image Allyson. You have no right to ruin my life because you're just a slap in the face like before. Stop acting like you're very different from the slave Allyson I met seven years ago."Sofia answered me so I smiled knowing she would get angry.

"Try me Sofia, but don't forget that you're just a trash Sofia and not Sofia the first. You'll always stay behind my shadow no matter what you do."I reminded her and she was ready to answer but the media approached us.

Travis POV

I left the two girls because they might have a plan to ruin me. I just want the siblings ’show to end because I have no plans to ride their game. I don't want to be part of their family. I don't want to have a family right now. I want to enjoy my bachelor life full of money.

"Did you stay in the same room alone with Sofia?"

"Does it mean that you and Sofia are a couple?"

"You're now caught staying alone with Sofia, does it mean you're about to get married?"

I took a deep breath first to calm myself and to be able to think correctly. I should be careful because it might make another issue.

"Alone in a room together? Why don't you all enter the room to see if we are really alone."I answered and gave them a way to get inside.

I need to get out of that place before everything might get wrrong. They are such a pain in the a**.

"Prepare the car, I'm going home." I commanded Chad before turning off the call.

I went here for work, but I got something else. I even had a wife I just met and I almost took drugs from Sofia because she wanted to marry me.
