When Noah is ready, I pop him in the pram then I lift Sophie and put her next to him.

I push them from the room and pout as drake was holding a terrified Baylee in his arms, rocking her around and dancing as he hums ‘my girl’

Pulling my phone out I record the moment, Layla whimpers as we watch silently. One of those moments that should be remembered for forever but most likely it will be forgotten, to make room for less important things.

The babies start to chatter so I pocket my phone and smile at drake as he turns, he walks to us

“Hey babies”

He whispers holding onto Baylee as he talks to them.

We head downstairs, baylee didn’t talk or cry, she just sat there in his arms enjoying his presence.

As we reach the kitchen drake goes to peel her off his body, she sobs shaking her head

“No daddy, don’t go. I’m not ready”

He pouts at me, my emotions were all over the place, I had no idea how to handle this.
