Ascension

  Deklan's pov

  Two days before

" Hunters ascend at midnight, of their Eighteenth birthday ." Liam's words went through my head.

. As it was 10 minutes until midnight . I wore only a pair of grey sweat pants. Not only was I going to ascend into a hunter which was brutal. I'll be turning into a wolf for the first time as well which was a double whammy most hunters didn't have to go through both at the same time .

Even if their hybrids, Not many First full moons of a wolfs Eighteenth year of life. Takes place at midnight of their birthday. I'm just lucky I guess... 'Insert sarcasm ' here. The clock ticked on as we stood out side, my mother father and brother where surrounding me. In a field nothing either way for miles. Soon my body began to glow a violet color , just before I rose off ground. Floating to six foot above the clearing bed. The feeling of a thousand hot needles stabbing me all over set in. As my eyes glowed a deep violet color.

Soon feeling the a stabbing sensations as well as my body. Expecting the flames to engolph me though instead. My bones broke throughout my hole body. As my white fur sprouted all over. The sound of my spine shifting , echoed throughout the air . screams escaped me, soon my screams where replaced with the roar of a white wolf.

Though it didn't last long ,the bones snapped again as I hovered 6 feet in the air. Now shifting back to a very naked human . I fell back weakly , though didn't fall to the ground. As if their was no gravity,staying suspended 6foot in the air. Soon my vision blured as my eyes caught fire, and the bones in my body shattered all at once . The when I thought it couldn't get worse they fused back together.

My voice was hoarse from ,screaming though I couldn't hear anything due to my ears popping and reforming. As did my eyes. First my vision was blurred, though when it cleared . everything was sharper. I was able see everything for miles. Even ants on the ground and beads of water on blades of grass was magnified. Now I even had the ability to pick up heat signature or lack their of. Then once my body was fully adjusted with hunter ability's. Was the finally , A surge of wizard power escaped me. Leveling all trees around me making the earth tremble . my family chanting holding the magical defence up. Keeping the damage around us minimal. My body then became engulfed in flames . The screams where harsh,even on my own ears. As I screamed burning alive.

Soon no more sound escaped me and everything went black . Then I found my self in a massive body of black water. It went on as far as the eye could see. Swimming was harder then ever before, as my limbs got heavier by the second. Not able to hold my self up I began to sink into the water . holding my breath the best I could. Suddenly a hand came down

Directly above me out of nowhere . without hesitation I took it , being pulled out the water. Next thing I know . I'm on the ground in the clearing .fully healed gasping for air. Looking around.

" That sucked! " I groaned.

They didn't laugh as I expecting them to or tease me. They all looked worried and pained.

"Are you OK? Liam asked .

" I'm alive but very sore that was painful shit." Liam then nodded helping me up.

"Well birthday boy. You get to hunt your first immortal vampire . " he said .

"Wait what ? I thought they are very rare ?" I replied.

Liam looked to me. "They are, but at least one is terrorizing down town. So the important thing is. To get him to drink. Your blood it'll turn him back to a regular vampire to be inprisoned or killed. Depending on how far gone he is . but it be hard to trap him before he drink your blood and impossible to kill him."

" I've seen you trap plenty vampires with out becoming a blood bag. " I protested . " Yes but I'm not newly ascended either . " I sighed

" how do I get him to drink my blood ?"

" He will as soon as he sees you unless he has amazing Self control then just. Nic your hand or something. But only do that if necessary. Because once your blood Hits the air it will turn every vampire and blood thirsty creature into a blood lust frenzy for thousands of miles ." he replied.

I nodded . " OK so all you do is close your eyes smell the air . what smell draws you to it the most lock on it and follow it . normally they be the most vile scent . but because your newly ascended your. Brains drawing you to your target. We are made specificly to hunt immortal vampires . " He then added I nodded

"Then do I kill or trap him?I asked .

" Trap him then his fate will be decided by the elders based on his crimes. But make sure he drinks from you first. Now go before he kills someone els." Liam said.

I looked from him to everyone who looked worried. Hunters can't have help their first hunt it's a initiation of sorts . I closed my eyes then locked in on the scent that drew me in, the scent of strawberry's and cream. A loud groan escaped my lips, at the scent. Following the alluring scent to where it originated from. Then the next thing I knew I was standing in front of the most enchanting blonde. I've ever laid eyes on.

Her eyes where as, Blue as the sea I was hypnotized. Watching the sway of her hips, her breast bounced slightly as she moved to me with enchanting grace. Her honey blond curled blew back slightly in the subtle breeze. My breath was knocked out of my lungs. Frozen in place not able to get my body to move.

I pulled back looking at the blond in my arms. The scent that intoxicated me so faint. No longer causing me to feel a pull to this woman. Pure confusion I'm sure came on my features as it was the only emotion I was currently feeling. The woman nuzzled her head in my neck.

Doing everything in my power not to growl. I bit my lip not wanting to hurt or insault her by pushing her away right after. Biting my lip So hard it bled slightly. As I decided to ignore my wolf and Waite, for her to stand up on her own Though that changed quickly. As a blood curling scream rang through my ears. Reminding me harshly and instantly what I was meant to be doing. "Shit!" I stood lifting her off my lap.setting her to her feet gently and fixing my pants Faster then one could blink before Following the scream.

Seeing a male with long brown hair drinking from a women .only to turn his eyes filled with blood lust and he lunged at me. Which I didn't bother trying to counter seeming as he need my blood to reverse the affects making him completely unkillable. In no time he pulled back throwing the little blood he drink from me then more crimson fluid until it became violet. I watched. Freaked out non my siblings turned an immortal vampire. Back to a normal one. It was gross he vomited all the blood in his system including Rosas.

Which upon ingesting it, it caused his bones and organs to be coated with magic. To make the vampire that drink her blood unkillable . My blood causing, the coating ,to break down and retract. It evaporated from his bones and organs. The substance turned back to it thick violet, liquid substance. That he regurgitated as well once the emptied all the blood in his body. And the magic decade. He vomited the violet fluid next ,as his body grew pale as paper. He slowly dedicated, Falling toward the ground. To Which I caught him before he hit the ground. Afraid he'd break like glass in his state . " Fucking disgusting." I grumbled holding his designate body.

As I began to move in the direction of the house of the elders. A forboden feeling bit at my bones. The hair on the back of make neck, stood up, as my heart began, to beat loudly in my chest. Just the a animalistic growl was heard, from behind me. A sigh left my lips, setting the male down, gently it was clear he needed to be alive. Or .. undead or whatever.

so I don't want to risk him shattering. Though the act was not smart as I turned a bit late, a female lunged at sinking her fangs in my neck as I turned. A growl escaped my lips as I easily yanked her way , as my strength was greater then a regular vampire. Taking silver tipped stake from my jacket pocket ,drove it through her heart. I would have attempted to bring her alive but as far as the eye could see, in all directions I was surrounded by a sea of different creatures. All in a blood lust trance " Fuck me!" I growled.
