I opened it and was welcomed by the lovely picture of myself and the only people that mattered to me in this world. I looked so huggable with round cheeks anyone would want to eat and pinch.

Bonding with my mother felt like they just lifted half the weight that was on my shoulders. Mother did everything she was asked to do in the hospital. Mother arranged for me to have a therapist and I groaned when I heard this.

Why did I have to attend those things?

We left the hospital in mother's car. We listened to songs and this don't worry, be happy started playing on the radio. Mother increased the volume and sang.

"Don't worry, be happy." She nodded her head to the rhythm of the music. "Come on, sing with me." She looked at me and returned her eyes on the road.

"I don't know it." I lied.
