The letters in "LIFE" are more to what we read meaning to, than they are. These are Nina's words when she steps beyond the boundaries that she thinks she couldn't. "How can I return to my husband's house without being recognized by him?" Well, Discover "The real me" in Nina's Story

“Hey, you're here for the job, I guess”.
“Yes sir,” I said slowly.
“You have to remain at the reception, the interviewer will meet you there. Now go! He said authoritatively and turned without looking at me for a second time.
“Amazing,” I muttered slowly. “This was the same Chef I had control of, you can imagine how he had begun ordering me about like a kid. There's no problem.”
I had barely settled down when Mrs Dorathy walked in.
“How are you, Nina?” She asked me.
“I'm fine, ma’am” I responded without looking at her face directly. I handed the documents she requested and awaited her response. While she did this, I observed her.
“Welcome to your new home, Nina. You'll serve in the mansion, you'll assist the other maid's there. Now, follow me”
My emotions threatened to betray me at this point. But I composed myself not to let it spill. We got to the servants quarters, and I was introduced to the other maid's as Nina Salvatore. Immediately Mrs Dorathy left, Maria came closer and hugged me tightly.
“Welcome home, my boss,” she whispered into my ears.
“I'm no longer the boss,Maria. I'm a maid, just like you.” Immediately I said those words, tears fell from my eyes but I quickly cleaned them.
“Work starts now, Nina goes with Maria to the living room” Mrs Dorathy instructed.
Mrs Dorathy hasn't changed at all, it seems her level of authority has increased, I was the only one she was afraid of, but now, life has happened and I'm under her.

Do you think he still recognizes me?" I asked as I scrubbed the floor, the soapy water reflected the memories I wished I could wash away.
"How could he not?" Maria replied as she stared back at me, her eyes were full of both pity and disbelief. "You were his wife Nina. His beloved, and the only woman he wanted."
“That was then”. I took a deep breath, and my eyes fell on the staircase where I once walked down in my beautiful and expensive clothes, not the threadbare uniform of a maid. "Maria, things have changed. People see what they want to see," I murmured, more to myself than to her.
Maria sighed, pausing her own work to kneel beside me. "It's dangerous, you know. Coming back here to work as a maid. But what If he finds out"
"He won't," I shot back immediately. "Henry barely notices the staff, so he won't see me."
Maria’s expression softened, but there was an edge of worry in her eyes. "Just be careful, Nina. The past always has a way of catching up with us."
Four years had passed since I last walked in this mansion Nina Windsor, the lady of the house. The memories of that night, my hasty departure and the tears still haunted me as though it happened yesterday. I had left a life of luxury and a man I had once loved desperately, only to return under the guise of a servant.
My return was not a decision I made lightly. I had spent the past four years in a small village, working in a hospital, trying to forget about him and all that we shared. But some ties are too strong to break, and the pull of the past had eventually become too powerful to resist. So here I was, back in the mansion that had both cradled and crushed me, hoping to stay hidden in plain sight.
As we continued working, I couldn't help but let my mind wander to the man who lived above us. Henry, My husband, Or rather, my former husband, though no formal divorce had been the best thing which had happened to me. In the eyes of the law, we were still bound together, even though our hearts had drifted apart since I left. This was my reality, and I had to face it.
The first real test of my strength came later that morning. I was given instructions to deliver new bed sheets to the master bedroom. “What?” I screamed within me. “Why me of all people?” Does Mrs Dorathy recognize me, and try to get back at me?” This was a room I had once shared with Henry. Well, what am I now? Nothing but a maid and I had no other option but to obey. The journey up the staircase felt calm and emotional, each step I took echoed with memories of happier times.
As I approached the door, I paused with the weight of my secret pressing down on me. Taking a deep breath, I knocked lightly before entering. I expected to hear his voice, but it seems he wasn't in. I pushed the door and entered. The room was just as I left it; elegant, luxurious, and utterly lifeless without the warmth of love that once filled it.
I quickly started my task, hoping to finish before Henry returned. But fate, it seemed, had other plans. The door slowly opened, and I froze, I felt my heart pounding in my chest.
"I didn't expect anyone to be here," Henry's voice echoed, deep and familiar, startling me. I turned slowly, keeping my head bowed in a gesture of apology and respect.
"I'm sorry, sir," I managed to say despite the turmoil inside of me. "I was just trying to finish up."
He stepped further into the room, and I could feel his eyes on me, scrutinizing and assessing. "What's your name?" he asked, with a hint of curiosity in his tone.
"Nina, sir," I replied, the irony of using my real name not lost on me. "Nina Salvatore."
For a moment, there was silence. Then he spoke again, but this time, his voice was softer, like the one I was used to. "Nina?” You remind me of someone I once knew."
Marcus lay on the cold, concrete floor, in the ocean of his blood, his breath came in ragged gasps. His once confident, domineering presence was now reduced to a pitiful, broken man struggling to fight for his life. Kelly stood over him, with the gun still trembling in her hand. The shock of what she had just done was written all over her.Marcus’s eyes, once filled with cold calculation, now held a flicker of disappointment, anger, and perhaps even a trace of betrayal. He coughed, and the movement sent a fresh wave of pain through his body, he stretched his hand out toward Kelly, but his fingers wavered as if trying to grasp something just out of reach.“Kelly,” Marcus whispered. “Why…why did you do this? I thought…we were on the same side. I thought we agreed… to get revenge.”Kelly’s lips shook as she looked down at him, her eyes brimming with unshed tears. The man lying before her was a shadow of the person she had once known, the man who had manipulated her, twisted her emotions,
The door finally creaked open, and the sound echoed through the warehouse like a gunshot. Nina’s breath caught in her throat as Marcus walked in with Nurse Kelly. The sight of her sent a wave of shock through the room, the collective gasps of everyone echoed in the silence. Kelly’s presence was unexpected, and for a brief moment, everyone seemed frozen in place, as their minds struggled to process this new development.Nina’s eyes locked onto Kelly’s, searching for some sign of what was going to happen next. On the other hand, Kelly’s expression was unreadable. But there was a look in her eyes that sent a chill down Nina’s spine.Marcus stopped in the middle of the room, studying the faces around him with a predatory gaze. He seems to enjoy the fear he saw in their faces. He moved closer to Nina. “I told you, but you wouldn't listen. You wanted to see what I could do. Right?” He asked her as he wiped a tear from her eyes.“See what you’ve caused. Everyone is in a mess because of you.
Inside the cold warehouse, the air was thick with tension. Nina sat bound to a chair. She watched the movement of Marcus in fear. After some time of pacing around, he stood before her with a twisted smile on his face. The sight of him made her blood boil, but she knew she had to keep her composure. Any sign of disobedience could set him off, and the last thing she wanted was to put her family in more danger. He leaned forward to kiss her, but she quickly turned her face.Marcus had been making jest of her for what felt like hours. Every now and then, he would lean in close, his breath hot against her ear as he whispered threats.“You’re so predictable, Nina,” Marcus sneered, pacing back and forth in front of her. “You’re always trying to be the hero, always thinking you can outsmart me. But look where that’s gotten you. Tied up and at my mercy. I thought you’d recognise me when I came, but No!. Can't you see that you're dumb?”Nina’s jaw clenched as she fought the urge to spit in his
Henry's heart pounded as he drove towards the east of the town. He called Olivia to ensure that they were safe while he also informed them about his movements, his thoughts were consumed with fear and anger. “Please be safe out there.” Olivia managed to say.“Sure, be more vigilant as well.” Henry said as dropped the phone. The lead he had just received from Maria felt promising, but he couldn't shake the fear that something terrible might happen to Nina before he could reach her. The idea of Marcus holding her captive, possibly harming her, made Henry's blood boil. He gripped the steering wheel tightly, as he sped down the road. The sudden ring of his phone startled him. He quickly glanced at the caller ID and felt a cold chill run down his spine. It was Marcus. “My goodness!” He exclaimed loudly as he pulled by the road.Henry hesitated for just a moment before answering, trying to prepare his mind for whatever twisted words would come through the line."Henry," Marcus’s voice came
"Doctor?" Nina said, her voice tinged with confusion. "Why didn't you inform us that you were coming? We weren’t expecting you at all."The doctor didn’t respond immediately. Instead, he stepped closer, his eyes fixed on her in a way that sent a chill down her spine. Before she could react, he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a gun. Nina's heart stopped, and she took a step back, fear paralyzing her."Don’t be a fool, shut your mouth and get into the car," he ordered, his voice cold and unfamiliar. It was then that she noticed something else, his face wasn’t right. The more she looked at him, the more she realized this wasn’t the doctor. His eyes were different Then, with a swift movement, he ripped off what she now saw was a mask, revealing his true face.It was Marcus.Nina’s blood ran cold as she recognized him. His face looked more cruel than before, and his eyes were filled with malice. She tried to scream, but no sound came out. Instead, she found herself frozen on th
“Take it here, and drop it there.” Nina said as she held her husband closely.“We’re doing it, my darling.” Henry told his wife. “I can't wait to start life again with you.Just then, Henry’s phone buzzed in his pocket. He glanced at the screen and saw Kelly’s name flashing. He tapped the screen and put it on speaker. “Henry, listen to me,” Kelly’s voice was urgent, filled with fear. “Don’t go anywhere. Marcus is out there. I just saw him, he looked like he was heading to your house. And I'm very sure he’s planning something.”Marcus had instructed Kelly to call him so that they would be able to know their new location.Henry exchanged a look with Nina, as his heart was pounding. “We need to stay back,” he said, his voice tight with urgency.“Oh my!” What's all these? She asked as she ran outside to alert everyone.“Get inside, now,” Nina ordered, ushering everyone back into the house. They moved quickly. Inside, they locked the doors and pulled the curtains shut. Henry’s mind raced
