Lilly’s POVBy the time the sun set the air had changed, the wind was stronger, the laughter had gone, even the birds had gone quiet as if they sensed something wrong. Lilly’s POVIt was another morning of peace, I was starting to worry when it was all going to crash down. The settlement was lively with the laughter of all the kids and the small talk of the adults. To everyone else the settlement was safety but to me it was everything. Lilly's POV The sun climbed higher over the settlement and for the first time since the world collapsed it almost felt like a normal morning. The air was calm as the streets were alive with movement, people carried baskets of vegetables to their houses and the dining area.
