Chapter 2.20 | Your Loss

*Three years later*

Algin was sitting on Igris’s shoulder eating a berry. Both Igris and Algin watched as Qykerth paced around in front of them.

“AAHH!” Queseon screamed from the other side of the door they were in front of.

Qykerth jumped in his step and looked at the door, then at his son. Lancer came flying over and settled on Igris’s head with his bird and looked at Qykerth, who was agitated.

Lancer accepted a handful of berries from Algin, whose face was covered in berry juice. Algin jumped off of Igris’s shoulder and stopped in front of Igris’s face, who focussed his attention on him.

Algin looked at Igris and asked, “Is my face sticky? I feel sticky.”

Igris nodded his head. “Yes, you have the tendency to stuff your face when you eat fruit. You should have eaten it after you shifted.”

Algin shook his head, “It’s bigger like this. Lick it off for me.”

Igris sighed. He opened his mouth and stuck out his tongue. Algin lowered his face and let Igris lick it.
